I also hope that everyone will support the Han people and the culture of our ethnic minorities. There are 56 ethnic groups in China. Diversified, inclusive, take the essence and discard the dross!
I was incredibly thrilled to see the Hanfu comeback, it's such a huge lost to see Hanfu disappear, I am so glad it's back now. I really hope more and more people can participate in the Hanfu comeback
Amazing chinese culture
omg, call me uninformed! I didn't know Fang Wenshan, one of the best lyricists who also composed for Jay chow is the founder of this festival! such a wonderful surprise that makes sense as I am typing bc of his works before as well :)
Hanfu could make a wearer look elegant and attractive..
👍👍👍👍👍
In our modern day, i believe designers should put more efforts to EVOLVE this fashion into the modern day Hanfu and be well received by all...
I am so happy to see this, going back and enjoying the ancient cultures and dresses is a fun experience. Glad the people are bringing it back.
As long as people still remember the culture and apply it to daily life, then people will never lose it. Glad to see the Chinese now reviving their culture with Hanfu
Very good idea. So the Chinese won't lost their culture.
Hopefully China will recognize Hanfu as their official costume where it stand for elegant and beauty ...
There are many ethnic groups in China , Han is just one of them. Though Han is undoubtly the largest one.
@@林T-k5m So many countries they recognize their majority ethnic and value their costume and how come China are not proud of their thousand of years costume who represent elegance and beauty ...The Japanese, Korean, Indian, even all the minority in China have their own why not China be proud of their majority Han costume Hanfu to be their official costume to represent China
@@areebachewa8318 well im not saying they’re not proud , people still get married in traditional dresses . But everyone wears modern western clothes because of the revolution and overall westernization
@@林T-k5m I do understand the change and for me I can see the beauty in both and I would rather see the Han people wearing their own as what the Indian are admiring their saree costume where they are still wearing it today...
Hanfu is so beautiful and feel so nice when I wear it. It is flowy and make me look slim and pretty like a fairy.
Thanks for sharing.
Loving seeing people wearing ancient dress particularly ladies. They’re just gorgeous. In my next visit to China, I may consider to rent some of these Han dress to try it out.
You can buy it from the website. Ask Chinese people to help you. It’s better than renting. You can bring it back home as a souvenir.
@@HULI_AIXIA Unfortunately, I won’t have much opportunity to wear it again outside China unless I wear it at home as it may not be practical. I just want to see how my wife and I look in Han dresses. Anyway, thanks for the advise.
Han fashion is the future ❤️
确实
I was born in the West in the 80s but somehow I feel I identify more with these youngsters in regards to Chinese cultural identity. Add oil! :)
SentientStone @ I am with and there are millions more like you.

Amazing video! China has 56 ethnic groups. 55 of them wear their traditional clothing for important festivals or events! But Han Chinese people don't really wear Hanfu as often as the other 55 Chinese ethnic groups. I'm so glad that Han Chinese can learn from other ethnic groups and start this "Hanfu Movement"!
I like the era of the romance of three kingdoms
I am a Three Kingdoms fan 😊
Chronicle of easten zhou Kingdoms is much more fun. It's about Spring&Authumn to warrring state to Qin Unification of China. However, no english tramslation. I read Thai language tramslation.

I’m watching a 75-episode TV series of the Qin Dynasty on RUclips. It has English subtitles.
Wars of the Three Kingdoms 2010 is brilliant and the English subtitles is superbly done. It’s on RUclips too.
@@zhugeliang3905 What is the story about?
I really want them to be like Japan, where they still wear their traditional garb in between all the modern clothes and seeing a resurface of these clothes makes me so happy. I’m Chinese myself but not worn any of these and would love to wear them the hanfu one day😌
Fang Wenshan 方文山 You're cool! I am still following you and Jay Chou for your new works!
So much more beautiful than any modern clothing.
Chinese ancient culture history monuments I ❤️ most 🙏
Ya'll i bought a hanfu last month for a chinese storytelling competition and let me tell you, wearing Hanfu makes you feel special.. it took me 5-7 minutes to record my performance (it's an online competition) only for me to wear it for the rest of the day.
of course every country/culture have their own beautiful traditional clothing like kebaya in the malayan culture and Yukata in the japanese, i honestly wish we could wear our selected clothing without being judged, like i really want to wear a casual kebaya out in the street just for fun...
*This is the cultural defense frontline! Prepare for the Koreans!! Over!!!*
S.korean drama 'River Where the Moon Rises' raises ire of Chinese netizens over 'copied costumes'. www.globaltimes.cn/page/202102/1216097.shtml. They would take and take shamelessly.

Hanfu are really majestic to look at.. for me they represent grace, purity, and authority.. love from Philippines 🤟🙋🏽❤️
I really love Hanfu in Ming style ,which is the most beautiful dress in the world!!!!!!!!
It is awesome to see the younger generation express their love of their cultural heritage. This is a great way to not forget it and pass it onto your own children.
I love Chinese Hanfu, I love Chinese culture😍
Everything so Beautiful , Amazing and Excellent ! Love it so much..❤️❤️❤️
Very beautiful indeed. Best of all, one size fits all.
I support 100%! How it should be everywhere around the world..
Hanfu are so pretty especially the female ones. I hope I can see more in public.
Chinese traditional clothing is beautiful.
One should always be proud of your cultural heritage.
I have been watching Chinese drama for a few years now and I am in love with the culture and dress. I wish I looked like the beautiful actresses in the dramas, they are flawless! And the clothes are so amazing
CGTN, Chinese women are very beautiful, together with the traditional dress they are "perfection".
Damn!!! Chinese ancient cloth are soo elegant.
A bit of alteration of the Han costume to suit current era and it might end up being mainstream.
Mate, it's already mainstream in China
There's something called modern hanfu
The trolls in the comment section though. These ppl have only hate in their hearts! Sad...
Mostly South Koreans whose ancestors applied so much Han traditions and clothing.
Americans. They are just refugees. Don't bother about them.
though they may put a modern spin on the classic style, that classic style can still hold its own. Centuries later and the early style still inspires many. I love the colors, and designs sewn into them.
Such an elaborate and exquisite culture 👍 huge admiration from #Nagaland
jong yo @ Naga people should maintain their cultural and beware not to be indianised by the Indian culture
Nagamese should actively promote and keep your own culture as well, before it is over taken by another culture.
@@michaelteng6076 Chinese culture itself is very much influenced by India what u talking about 🙄
Better say eastern cluture for western counterparts

As a non Han-Chinese person. Is it fine for me to wear traditional Chinese clothing ?
Why not? Means other foreign appreciate it? If I wore traditional French dress, don't see why French person would hate it?
Of course!welcome!🥰🥰
Yes, it is fine as long as it isn't done in a mocking or degrading fashion.
Sure can
It's fine as long as the intention is not to make a mockery out of it. Likewise for any other culture. We should respect all cultures no matter where they are from.
There is also a Treasure Trove in Chinese Philosophy from Tao to Confucius to Wu Wei to Mozi as hundred schools of thought are still relevant today with some update. Ancient wisdom is timeless. From Greek philosophers to Aesop's tale. Its not about old school or new school but some Facts of life never changes with time.
LOOOOVE THIS, Hanfu looks so beautiful
The girl at the beginning from Beijing is very elegant and soft spoken which matches her Hanfu.
Chinese Culture is so very rich and has been in the World for so very long! This is wonderful to see - such Pride in such a rich history!
