You should only have one red and two black starter character cards, the red ones are much better. Otherwise this looks like a very well done playthrough, that intro was touching. This War of Mine is easily my favorite board game of all time!
Thank you for such a well done playthrough. This game defiantly pulls on the heart strings, I lose more often than win, because of those things called Morals. I can't wait for the next video. Your presentation is amazing thank you for the great job!!!!
Thank you bairnt! That’s so cool you watched one of my videos. I started watching you when I bought Aliens another glorious day in the corp. that was one of my first games. I just finished recording up through day 6. So far morals still intact. More to go still.
This is an excellent game and one of the best playthroughs I have seen of any game, well done and hope we see some more. I have one of the expansions unopened I might get it out tonight and give the game another go, I have not "won" yet but really enjoy it still.
Man I’m glad you like it and thank you. Believe it or not I am still recording the rest of the Playthrough. This is a long game. I understand why it has a save feature. If you get it out, let me know what you think of the expansion.
@@BoardgamesforOne Oh boy the Days of Siege expansion is pretty nice, the core mechanics are the same but it changes it up in other ways and a lot of new story events. Certainly the better of the two expansions and well worth if it you want a new take on the game. you can also play as one character being a dog so that's a win straight away.
@@BoardgamesforOne It has three acts which as you go through but they can branch one way or the other after each one, each act I would say is like a normal length game of maybe a couple of hours or so and you can save between them easily. They can also be played as one-off scenarios if needed but meant to be played together.
Thank you for the video. This is one of those games I want to play but haven't been able to bring myself to get it to the table yet. I bought a copy during the fundraiser for Ukraine. I think it just feels too real for me at the moment, which is an incredible achievement for a board game.
Thanks for watching the play. It is an achievement I think. I hope you open it up and just see how you feel as you start. You can always stop and box it up.
I wanted my family to experience this game and family refused to install it so I sent the board game to a family member. I don't know who has the box now and whether it was thrown away or not. LOL

Gotcha. Thank you for clarifying. And I appreciate that you enjoyed it. Amazing game
@@BoardgamesforOne it truly is a special game.
I caught that one too. A good way to make things easier I guess lol.

I am looking forward to watching in the whole entirety.
That’s always welcome as long as it keeps your attention. When I lapse or it’s boring to watch, please let me know. Criticism helps me 😎
Thanks for your enjoyable presentation of This War of Mine......my family will be playing it today.
Thanks man. Y’all enjoy it together now

@@garyduddell3224 Days of Siege. I’ll keep an eye out. Is it a full campaign or shorter, single session scenarios?

Ahhh bummer. I hope you got to play it solo
It's not "kat-ee-a" it's "katch-ya". It's also not "pa-vlay", it's "pa-vill".
Thanks for the clarification
