This is one of my favorite 'odd-time' rhythms; 10/8. It consists of what I call "mirrored 5s", and is counted 123-12-12-123, (with the down beats on the 1s) which gives it the distinctive 'off kilter' feel, as if it's teetering back and forth. The gal on the drum is doing a pretty good job of keeping it going steadily; she loses it at around 4 minutes, but picks it back up at around 4:25.
Im so proud of my Armenian ancestry 🇦🇲❤️✝️
