They tried to blame Childe with the case of serial disappearances but then we prove his innocence, however that Machine still think of him as guilty and as a Fatui there's definetely a lot of things he's guilty for. I don't know how that machine judge though, it became self aware to a certain point as they said in the game and chose if he's guilty but it's not explained yet if the judgement is fair or if it judges at random just based on what it thinks instead of what Childe did as a Fatui, even if it most likely does.

I mean, sure, he's done bad stuff in the past as a Fatui but it had nothing to do with the case, so he shouldn't be arrested just yet. At least put him through another trial that is about his crimes as a Harbinger. Then that would make sense. I can't wait to find out what the actual reason is though
