1:56 - Kitty litter does not contain flammable vapor (Thick Undisturbed Foam Does)
2:10 - The primary concern with a hybrid vehicle is not "Leaking Battery" ALL hybrid vehicles are dry cell batteries, they will not leak... The primary concern is High Voltage.
2:39 - Hydrogen & Propane are not two most common alternatively fueled vehicles.
3:00 - Using a fan to direct a propane leak is a very bad idea unless it is a spark-less motor
4:00 - Rescuers don't need to worry about there position in regards to airbags if they have conducted proper shut down procedures
4:43 - There is only one bag that comes from the hood of the car... Its a Volvo that was only sold in Europe
5:08 - Rescuers should never concern themselves with sensors... There are way to many of them and have no effect on rescuer safety
6:00 - Thats just crazy! A bent wire does not change the resistance enough to set off an airbag!
6:20 - Now I am losing my mind! you can bend any door in any shape you want to get the occupant out! NO RISK OF "Bending wires"
7:38 - Cutting a wire loom is a potential issue if 12V has not been shut down. This is because you run the risk of connecting 12V power from another source (power window, lock, etc) to a door airbag. It is unlikely but possible.
7:56 - Rear passenger seat is a very rare location for a 12V battery
8:20 - We have already covered the wire but airbag inflation cylinders in doors are almost always located near the latch side because thats where the airbag is.
12:15 - This is NOT how a duel stage airbag works - here is the truth ruclips.net/video/j8EGCGEqbSY/видео.html
I actually cant take any more of this video... Let's just assume its unreliable content.
I'm sure the instructor had no ill intention. Just a repeating what he's been told.

Well, now I need clarification because this video is part of the programming for my COLLEGE class on emergency service rescue. This is the only education they've provided on vehicle extrication risks, and while your comment has been helpful, it's left me more confused, if anything. 🤔

@@btrlucknxttime if you're in my class there is additional info provided by the instructor in the voice thread link, and they talk about this specific comment, if this is legit the only source of info they provide, I'd demand a tuition refund. lol
but yes this video is outdated but still provides a decent overview with additional instruction. think of it as a primer as opposed to being the definitive.

Can you direct me to the study(ies) that show the products of combustion with added water produces HF?

Can someone please cite your information sources for the "wire" air bag sensors? I have been unable to verify this information is correct.
