What a wonderful piece of blues history. Never sounded better, anything
Would give anything to see video of BB’s full set from this day. I’ve got the audio and he was killing. Wish there was video.

I believe that's Sonny Freeman and the Unusuals backing B.B up, and I think the great Duke Jetrho in at the organ. What a band! And, of course, B.B and T-Bone sound great.
2 GODS!
Dang Monterey was place to be in 67.
teacher and student
Does anyone have the footage to the Clara Ward Singer from Monterey Jazz Festival 1967?
dos mountruos del blues a mi me gusta mucho el blues de t bone walker al igual que el maestro bb king la cagaron que buenos musicossssss...
Anyone know what small combo amp that is?
Fender Super Reverb 4x10 in 70's made a similar one called quad reverb. small? LOL only combaper to BB's I think you can see Freddie King using one as well. I use a DeVille..not the same but 4x10 is always good.
Very Cool ! ... do you have any more footage of this film from 1967 Festival? Woody Herman Orchestra? They did two shows - later this day Saturday evening Sept 16th and the next day Sunday 17th...?. thx , man.
I loved that B.B.King and T-Bone deal, but I was REALLY digging the Richie Havens performance until they cut it off. 😔
Where's Lucille?
Thats one of the original Lucille's. Best sounding one imo.
Yeah, they didnt all used to be black with no f-holes. He used to play just a normal 335 until in 78/79 Gibson made him one with Lucille on the headstock. Then in 1980 they asked him to design a custom one so they could make a line of Lucille's and he requested the black with no f-holes and some other things.
George Smith he actually played a 355 for many years like the one in the video. But almost always played a 355 not a 335
@@davidrusselltheportcityblu2800 345 actually, he liked the varitone switch
Ben white he is definitely playing a 355 in this video. It also has Varitone.
BB has a different guitar than Lucille
That IS Lucielle. There were many. man you must be very young LOL
