Thank you Pam I have a more understanding of the shroud now then I did before. Father Leonard can't thank you enough on this most important video and seeing the cross with Jesus with all the blood covering him made me cried seeing the suffering he went through for us.

I have watched many programs on the Shroud, and Pam's explanations are very interesting. I have Always believed the Shroud was the burial cloth of Jesus.

Fr. Leonard, for some time now, I've wanted to thank you with all my heart. Approximately 11/2 -2 years ago, you gave a homily wherein you stated that if God has led you to it, He will get you through it. I have severe PTSD caused by 6 brushes with death. It caused me to be homebound, too fearful to even go to Mass. You, with your homily phrase, have enabled me to enjoy the blessed Mass again! Now, at age 69, I have a terminal illness. I'm so excited about finally getting to see our Lord and His blessed Mother. Thank you so very much, dearest Father Leonard. BTW, I had the pleasure of watching your ordination to the Priesthood.
May God surround, embrace and bless you and all those at EWTN.

Pam McCue has provided a great service in distilling all of the recent findings about the Shroud of Turin. Her journey from assuming because of the 1988 C-14 test claiming the Shroud to be a 13th century forgery, until recently understanding that the Shroud is clearly an image of a man crucified in the time Christ.(First century AD) happened to many people. The image shows the wounds that match the description of the crucifixion in the Gospels in great detail.
The British Museum which conducted the 1988 C-14 test has still not apologized for presenting a world class hoax(claiming science has proved the Shroud to be a fake) that duped people around the world.
Here's an example, of the reporting on these tests from the Washington Post on Oct. 14, 1988.
"Three laboratories in the United States, Britain and Switzerland simultaneously tested the cloth and their results were in close agreement. To a 95 percent certainty, the cloth was made between 1260 and 1380 A.D. There is a virtually 100 percent certainty that the cloth was made after 1200 A.D."
