Got to say, this is an absolutely fantastic extra for DREAMS, kudos to Mm's dev team!!!
Creating your own Vr games has never been easier. DREAMS is an industry game changer accessible to all...
A side note: while you're holding an object in VR and moving around in virtual space you can use your head movement to control your up and down and side to side movement. Learning this has proven very helpful in smearing large sculpture is sculpt mode effectively.
Been waiting for this since the beta. Now I can do some really cool things hopefully !
Why do you guys never show love to the move controllers in your tutorials? It is such a headache trying to translate the controls
Thanks Tom M!
TY MM
Thanks tomathy.
How do you move around using 2 move controllers??? - i can easily zip to objects... but moving around doesn't always work or is very tiny... isn't there away to update the control system so a button on the left controller enables free walking?
Also, the tutorial for using move controllers doesn't work in VR... you lose the imps when it switches to cinema mode.
are there plans of having it so you can have a move controller only game that enables you to paint to an area and teleport too and enables you to use both hands in VR???
For the most part the VR experience is great... i really do love it... but it is definitely more focused on using and playing with the ps4 controller.
During edit mode? You can hold down the move buttons when grabbing a space to "pull" yourself towards that space.
Paul D for me using the moves is pretty hard but playing with them in VR is amazing but yeah dream shaping with them has a lot of controls and is pretty hard
To the Dear creative team of Media Molecule...
Is it possible to adjust for scale in Dreams VR? Example: Adjust for avatars height, Interpupillary distance, and pupil size? Imagine an ordinary room viewed in VR from the perspective of someone of microscopic size. The scale of that room would be astronomical by comparison! In my humble opinion, VR won't really ever "come into its own" until it can be used to effectively blow people away emotionally through the creative use of "infinite scale". Without this awesome, awe-inspiring scale adjustment feature, any VR creation tool would be sadly lacking. Someone, anyone please get back to me on this!
P.S. Stereo audio can be experienced at an infinitely variable scale as well, by scaling the Avatars' ears instead of its eyes! Unless you already have this ability as a feature, please put on your thinking cap and look into it. I wish you well.
Sweeeet
But how do I actually program the character to be able to walk around?
Will dreams be available on the ps5 I’m debating on buying it if the series crosses over to next generation i don’t want to spend my time in this creative space without being able to carry on in the next console generation
Yes, Dreams will work on the PS5
@@UKM-13 - how do you know??? -- will it be the ps4 version of the game or do you have to buy the PS5 version of the game??? ... i know they've said PSVR will be compatible...but they've been somewhat quiet about backwards compatibility of games
@@paul28177 all I know is that it will work for the ps5. Probably a patch since this game took years to make. Maybe they launch a ps5 version of dreams and have it preloaded on every console.
@@paul28177 I can confirm now, dreams works very well on PS5
How do you attach something to the imp
How do you scope I really need to know
I can only think of "scale" when you write "scope". Can you clarify?
