I really appreciated how the interviewer listened carefully to Ringo's answers and didn't try to interrupt with another question (as many interviewers seem to) plus she actually seemed informed on Ringo's solo career. Ringo seemed very at ease and I just loved listening to his stories. One of the best I've seen in many years. Thank you and well done!
I read your comment before I watched the video, and you're right. She was very polite and respectful, while also listening intently to Ringo's words, plus, as you said, she was well informed about his career, and I think of all of those factors combined brought out a warm, relaxed, receptive, and conversational Ringo giving a terrific interview.
I know folks who tell me DON'T PASS ME BY is their favorite Beatles song, which is great when I tell them Ringo wrote it! I saw his All Stars a number of times - shows - the show i saw in June 19, 1992 at Radio City Hall was one of the best concerts i have ever see, great lineup - God bless Sir Ringo and his family with happiness and great health in 2025!!
For someone who's lived in Beverley Hills for DECADES, I'm very impressed that the only tiny hint of an accent in his words is a slight twang when he says "and".
Meanwhile I'm imagine the other 3 beatles telling the same Octopus's Garden story in their own voice. For Paul he really emphasized how he was smoking a "spliff" and "having a really good time, maaan"
Best interview I’ve ever seen with Ringo ❤

What a fantastic interview. Ringo seems happy and comfortable talking about himself. Love this!

It’s hit number one and a terrific album.
It’s the perfect swan song for Ringo to go out on.
Oh? Is Ringo scheduled to check out anytime soon?
