For anyone who wants to mount it on the ceiling like he did and you dont want it to record upside down just simply go to the app and follow these steps. 1. Settings 2. General 3. Mounting Guide 4. And turn on rotate image 180
Can I put that camera up to my window so I can look outside. And can that camera sense movement through a glass window? Stupid question but i am sure those window cameras are able to sense movement. Can you please answer this basic question and or make a video on this?
I don’t know how I didn’t know about this channel, but I’m glad it came up in my search! I just bought this camera and it should be here Monday. You were able to provide a wealth of information in 10 minutes without sounding rushed! This is the perfect review I was looking for, with details from installation of the hardware to the software. I love you, fan boy! Definitely subscribing! Side notes: love the pun in your logo! Lol Also, 7:15 cracked me up! Hahaha And those panels behind you? Adore!! Is it Earhart, Douglas, and Darwin?
Cool. I just bought into the Ubiquity UniFi Protect platform, primarily because of its slick app and local recording (no cloud subscription) but this looks like a nice alternative.
Good job, HKSV is a requirement for me, hopefully you'll eventually be able to include Onvis, Logitech Circle, and Eve cams, complete with charts demonstrating feature differences. Thanks again for your work on these.
Thanks for the review. Could you please create a video on how to view live videos of Eufy cameras on cell phones when you are not at home or your cell phone is not connected to the same wireless NAT router as these cameras?
You can your data and recordings locally or in the cloud. And if you own a NAS, you can make the recordings go to the NAS and from there to your Google Drive and/or Dropbox (don't know if OneDrive and iCloud is supported nor if every NAS has that feature. Mine is a Synology DS214PLAY and it has)
Hi, nice video! I have a doubt. When configuring the camera in homekit you say that functions are lost but ... can these functions still be used in the eufy app? That is, I understand that in the home app I cannot use them but if I open the eufy app, can I use them? Or once configured in homekit they are also lost in the eufy app? It would be very bad not to be able to move the camera because you have configured it in homekit. Are these functions still lost even if you don't use homekit secure video?
@@FanboyTech what I don't understand is why the camera cannot be moved in HomeKit. It is not something related to any Apple restrictions. What is this camera for if you can't move it? being able to move it is its main feature. Can we expect Apple to allow it in the future?

thank you for mentioning the fact that if you bring it into homekit, you lose all those AI features like person detection, pet detection, pet command, activity zones etc etc. i am new to homekit and was disappointed seeing how much i lose out from not using the camera standalone. i know you said you get back the person detection and zones in iOS14, but i for one will NOT pay to use apple's secure video feature. the whole reason why i bought eufy was for the free on board storage. but do you know if you do not use and pay for apple's secure video, will the person detection and activity zones still work in homekit? so i basically want homekit to notify me and do automations but i want all records to be on the SD card based on the activity zones and person detection i set in homekit.
Bought the Eufy Pan too. I love it. Just try to convince those Ring fanboys as they've already got their head up their butts in juvenile fandom of Ring products.
This camera DOES NOT work with Alexa. Constant message "Camera is not responding" with each and every attempt to view, and I when I look at the reviews within the Alexa skill, most customers have given Eufy a ONE star for the same reason. This is absolute rubbish although the camera works well within its own app.
DO NOT BUY. I bought 4 for indoor use while I’m travelling. One small power cut and the cameras all fail to reconnect to the wifi so they are totally useless now.

How can you access your video to collect proofs?
