Here i had used synthetic thread and not that nylon/ plastic kind of thread.
Tassels need to be supple...hence :)

Hi Connie, for making tassels it is best to use strong synthetic mixed polyester thread because it gives a beautiful fall to the tassels. Plastic/nylon thread is not good for tassels.
