Russian language is a kind of lg that by changing context and even pronoun and even tense of a sentence the verbs will be changed as well, So the best way for teaching verbs is to use in a sentence by providing an example for each verb. this video is good for native russian people !

Thank you for this great content. Anyway, I have a question.
The background guitar music for this content is so wonderful. I really like it. What's the name of the instrumental music and who are the players? I'd appreciate your kind informing on this.

Здравствуйте, Дарья и Веселого Рождества! (sorry, had to use the translator on that one :-) Could you put a list of all of the verbs - maybe in the commentary? I can't write fast enough)))

Daria, two questions: 1.) Как вы говорите "брат" или "брать" - how does "ь" change the sound? (2) My verb book (and my teacher also) say that "имеет" is archaic and the form "у меня есть" is preferable. I still find it (very!) much easier to say a simple verb like "я имею" than trying to force "у меня есть" into the middle of a sentence! Do you find Russians still using "имеет"? Большое спасибо!

    • @RussianwithDariaMikhay

      Randolph Carter,
      1) If you say брат without soft sign 'ь' you will get the word 'brother' ruclips.net/video/_ZziBxhZgww/видео.htmlm24s
      2) Mostly we use 'у меня есть' , in sentences like 'I have a pen', the translation 100% is 'у меня есть ручка', not 'я имею ручку'. This is a common mistake for Russian learners. Sometimes in different contexts you may find the word 'иметь' and you should know what it means.
      You're welcome!

Most Russians make the same mistake you make: It is Verbs not Worbs. To pronounce words beginning with the letter V put your lower lip under your upper teeth.
