拥有41年的种植经验，栽种各种品种榴莲及本地水果。其中以得奖的“黑刺”榴莲占最多，其 “黑刺” 曾在2013年参加农业局主办的榴莲冠军果王赛会中，荣登 “冠中冠” 宝座。
(槟城, 威南7月13日讯）慕名“黑刺”榴梿而来的香港美食作家蔡澜一亲芳泽惊喜若狂，赞不绝口，也停不了口，他一口气吃了超过十核的“黑刺”和“猫山王”，并形容这次是他吃过最好吃的榴梿。
蔡澜和21名团友，这次特地来槟城品二届冠军榴梿“黑刺”，来到黑刺原产地双溪堡果园品尝各名种和本地榴梿，蔡澜仅对“黑刺”和“猫山王”情有独钟。他形容，“黑刺”味道浓郁、口感好、肉质饱满，非常好吃。和“猫山王”相比，一个是法国女人，一个是意大利女人，各有千秋。
You may have heard of Musang King durians often but there is one cross-bred species that is now being recognized by many real durian king. It's Ochee Durian . It is grown in Sungai Baong (Seberang Prai Selatan ), Junjung and Relau (Kedah). The 56 -year old plantation co-owner, Mr Leow Cheok Kia , says that there are around 600 Ochee durian trees in these estates and the oldest is around 29 years old. In 2013 , Ochee durian from his farm was awarded King Durian amongst Durian Kings in a competition organized by the Ministry of Agriculture. This acknowledges that Ochee durian is recognized as best amongst the best in the country!

好吃的榴莲以前叫做黄肉干包，1kg rm3，后来这些黄肉干包榴莲就依照特征分门别类取个名字，就可以卖1kg rm30以上了。

I bought durian in Vietnamese store one time here in USA , I brought back home my brothers so excited when we opened the durian absolutely rotten we can’t eat never trust Vietnamese store they know how to cheated their customer.
refrain yourself from buying durian that's been kept frozen for too long. ask the seller how long it's been there or see the label if available.
if the color of husk is too dark, the bottom is already split open and the smell is too overpowering, then it's already spoilt or overripe.
since durian sold in the US was imported from South East Asia, it took a long time to reach final destination. without proper freezing method along the way to maintain the quality, durian can easily get spoilt or rotten even just after a few days.

Dude, nowadays they provide plastic containers. Can't cheat, right?Even they know Be bold. Reject the bad ones. Tips.. Buy one. Try. Then ask them to open all you bought. Good luck ❤
Just learn several tips to choose good durian. Other than familiarising yrself with all famous varieties, try these tips:
1) choose durian that feels lighter compared to its size
2) make sure bottom isnt cracked or opened yet.
3) good durian carries strong and pungent smell. Take a sniff before open. Discard if there's no smell.
4) gently shake the durian and if the pulps inside are moving, then it's good.
5) dont choose one that's too big and too heavy.
6) odd shaped durian with thicker stalk & slightly bigger or blunt spikes usually tastes better.

Yalah 🤣 Anyone that fails to adapt, evolve and advance with time would be left behind or cease to exist. That is what happened to all the orang asli such as Semang, Senoi, Sakai, and aborigines in Australia. Malaysia was colonized by the British for many years. English was the dominating language. However, China is the new global power today. The Chinese language will slowly dominate the world. The fact is, outside Indonesia and Malaysia, the Malay language is almost useless. Malaysia would have been better off and more advanced if the country has been as pragmatic as Singapore.
