    因为稀少且昂贵,“黑刺”榴莲有着树上“黄金”之称。新成熟的“黑刺”榴莲比“猫山王”的价格还要高,常被当作馈赠贵宾至亲的重礼。许多人只闻其名,却终生未遇机缘得尝其味。
    黑刺榴莲的外观形状呈较规则的球体状,因其外壳的刺状突起的顶端呈现黑色而得名。其甜度及口感极佳,果肉新鲜,嫩滑细致,入口即化。
    榴莲被称为“水果之王”,黑刺榴莲则堪称“水果王中王”。“黑刺”榴莲的果肉呈奶油状,有些发粘,口感糯滑,几乎不含纤维;相比“猫山王”色泽更为黄润,带有明亮的橙色调。入口味道很甜,尾味又像“XO”榴莲一样有点苦味,味觉层次分明而又富于变化,激烈但又不那么持久。食完之后,口齿留香,耐人回味。

    是有正宗的XO的,小小粒而已。Pahang高山D24市场上的确叫XO,可是和真XO还是有分别。
    劳勿猫山王就不要吃最大粒的,1.6-1.8kg左右就好了。
    选灰壳,头小屁股大像椭圆形的最好。

      @@glorialeeym 我不是楼主而我也没去过啊,这个是在PJ的SS2,个人猜测他家的榴莲是来自劳勿的。以时间上来计算,觉得午餐时间前去等应该是比较好的。

      很多卖榴莲的把D24当XO卖,真正的XO白肉的榴莲壳很薄屁股的刺都是向内长得,而且酒味很浓,会麻舌头的。

    the colour of that Black Thorn flesh looked a bit pale & not as deep as the one I had in Penang. perhaps because the tree is still young & received different treatment.

    D24 is a very temperamental and inconsistent variety in term of quality.. easy to get unevenly ripe and bland if the trees arent properly taken care of. Try not to pick D24 that weighs above 2kg. Best bet is to choose one that weighs 1.6kg and below

      nguyen duc Both are good taste. You should try both then decide which is your favorite. The higher price just because the demand and supply, doesn’t mean expensive 1 better. Note also that grade A D24 taste better than grade C Musang King.

      D24 old tree is Better than MSK ( MUSANG KING ).. Black thorn look nice because of the yellow oranges color BUT if come to compare with D24/MSK... BT lose!

      D24 old version durian, D197 @ musang king more expensive than D24, Black Thorn the latest version more expensive than Musang king.

      I prefer black thorn more than musang king, musang king too creamy and milky. D24 also best if is old tree.

    Black Thorn is a hybrid durian, not original breed seed.. back in Thailand, they injected hormon on it and not like Musang King the origin King of the fruits

      i heard a story that Black Thorn was 1st planted in Malaysia using durian seeds that were brought back from Thailand. but when the tree finally produced fruits, it turned out differently than the original one in Thailand. perhaps it's due to different soil, fertilizer, treatment, cross pollenition, rainfall and also the surrounding areas

    Why i saw few of them using their knife hit the durian and there no people around there just throw smoothly at ground ..

      it's probably because premium durian like Black Thorn & Musang King never hits the ground anymore when it drops. either it's tied with long plastic string or caught with a huge net installed about 5-8 feet from the ground.
      this is actually done to prevent durian from potential damage due to hard impact, although it also means the ripening process is not completed yet. so they kind of resemble the act by knocking or softly smashing it to speed up the fermentation or ripening process.

      Netting is protecting it from breaking open when falling to the ground/also protects on falling people's head, also stops animals eating it, eg monkeys, etc

    Thailand Kanyao Durians from a specific farm next to Chao Praya River is the most expensive in the World 🌍! It cost USD$2,000/kg! Only 200 kg is harvested yearly for exclusive consumption by the Thai King 👑 & his Royal family!

      @@woonchungliong4173 being the most expensive durian doesn't necessarily mean the best. the fact is that when it comes to durian, Malaysians simply don't have the same taste preference as Thais. most Thais prefer their durian to be firm or crisp on the outer layer while soft on the inside.
      Malaysians on the other hand only eat tree-dropped and perfectly ripe durian. completely soft but not overripe. pre-cut durian with anything hard or crisp on the flesh is considered as inferior & inedible. durian with such texture is sold cheaply & only used in cooking, either savoury or sweet.
      of course tree-dropped Thai durians like Kanyao & Puangmanee are good but so are our Malaysian durians. we just have too many great local durian varieties that we're simply not bothered with imported durians at all. we even locally planted some Thai varieties here in Malaysia like Kanyao, Puangmanee, Chanee, Nok Kracip, Monthong & Kob family, but they're never considered as premiums like Musang King, Tekka, Green Skin, Red Prawn, Black Thorn, Golden Phoenix, IOI, D24 & many more.

      Black thorn not much now sure selling expansive.. but once u eat.. u will NEVER want to continue eat anymore. The colour actractive but The TASTE not really good at all compare to Musang King and D24 xo

    猫山王底部有星星图形,黑刺底部有根黑刺并以此得名。影片中指的黑刺,看来较像猫山王。
