I used zip ties to lower my subs into the box. Mine were only 85lbs but it will still work. Getting them in the box in a controlled manor is definitely the worst part. Just get a couple high test zips and run them through the mounting holes and use them for handles. That makes it as easy as it's going to get to get them lined up. Once they're in place you just use a screw driver as a lever and cut the zips and pull them out. That's my method. Don't know if its the best but it the best I've thought of and it works.

I loaded three ZV5 tens by myself. It was very difficult because my box is just as tall. The most difficult part was getting the motor into the hole with ten gauge wire. The cut out is almost the same size as the motor so I had no room for error. Plus it was 90 degrees. I laid microfiber rags to not scratch my custom built box that I stained and polished myself. Your box looks pretty good. You did a good job getting those monsters in the box alone.
@@williemccraw2073 thanks. It was a nuisance, but I made it happen, and lived long enough to show people. I hope I won’t have to remove them from the box again! Getting them out was hell! You had the issue I had with my x8s! And I used 8 guage on the terminals. I was pissed loading and wiring my x8s! And I ran 6 of them.
That’s great… over the years I’ve done a lot of down sizing and recently put 4 8s in my Tahoe with space to spare!

I thought my 3 Kicker Solo X 12’s were heavy but each weight “only” 64lbs. I would be screwed with your subs. Dang!!
Bruh! These things are ridiculous! And the resilient sounds team is closer to 170lbs.

You must have a huge alternator and batteries. Dang you need to sound proof that truck the roof and everything else rattles and makes doo doo sounds with sound proofing you increase your base to more than over 20 to 30 percent of what you hear and feel so get started :)

@@scamchan it’s decent, but the lows on a the bass 30k drop off under 30htz, so half bridge is better.
@@Memiselphi The newer smart series have a flat response all the way down to around 15hz ish then a minimal drop below that. They've stepped their game up for sure.

think if i had to do that my self id would of tryed my cherry picker and some stramps and took the box right out i remember takeing my box out with 3 wolfram 12s think there like 65 pounds a piece wont be doing that ever again by my self screwed my back up for like 2 weeks probly should just took my trunk lid and use the cherry picker lol

@@derrickbrown4161 it’s 12.6 cubes. Each sub has 4.2 cubic feet of space. It’s not too small.
