Good review! I think it's a VW Passat Highline with just an exterior R-line package. That might explain the difference with the interior of the reviewed Arteon with a complete R-line package.

What color is this exactly ? Pyrit silver?
Check the configuration in your country. It is silver metallic color there is another silver if I remember bit lighter in color.
Regarding the steering wheel. That is the new steering wheel on all VWs from 2017 and forward, right? Older reviews of same Passat such as the 2016, it has a round steering wheel. I prefer this new one much better. Hope Audi also update their steering wheel as the round one looks cheap and asian.
"Sport" flat bottom yes. But when there some new FL models, at beginning of production they known to go back to round steering wheels for some time and add standard flat bottom later.

Hey Volkswagen fixed the problem with the stereo with all models car. The stereo is fake. The treble option sound in the car is not clear. The stereo cannot memorize the song after engine turned OFF then after turned engine ON the songs start from begin . The touch screen is not working well. I'm not satisfied from my new car Volkswagen SE 2017. With this problems all models Volkswagen needs recall and repair. Don't sell the cars on the market with this problems.
