- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
These speakers do not necessarily reflect the views of the groups, Moore County Intergroup, or Alcoholics Anonymous as a whole. We offer these videos in good faith they will not be used improperly but may share our experience, strength, and hope with you and the alcoholic that still suffers. Please do not share, post, or otherwise link these videos or the audio attached to facebook, myspace, twitter, or any other social media site openly; we must always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and film to help ensure AA's continued effectiveness for future alcoholics and their families by separating principals from personalities.
If you or someone you know is having trouble with alcohol please visit us at moorecountyaa.org for Moore County, NC AA or AA world service at aa.org for localized meeting schedules outside of Moore County, NC
