Another fantastic tutorial. Couldn't figure out how to get a good quality mesh export until your tutorial. The mesh transfer attributes in Maya is key. Hope Russ Anderson from SynthEyes sees your great tutorials.
I'm working through your tutorial with my own scene of my back yard. I used a distance constraint and scaled the scene in SynthEyes to accurately set distances. I've exported the trackers and background plate to Maya and it works great. When I exported the ground mesh as a .obj file, it imports into Maya much smaller, not matching the SynthEyes trackers at all. Is there some setting to get the mesh size to match the SynthEyes trackers?
Hmm. The only idea I have without seeing the file is that you may have to check your export units in the preferences. Go to EDIT > EDIT PREFERENCES > you the drop down menu for FILE EXPORT > See if EXPORT UNITS is Centimeters. Maya might be CM by default. So this should make them match up. Hopefully ha. If it doesn't I could help better on my discord because we can share files there.
I just can't stop tracking after your tuts. I love it! amazing, thank you so much!!
