      I agree. That’s one of the main reasons I chose the Outlander over another Subaru when I traded my 2016 Crosstrek in the other day. All Subi’s new cars have everything, I mean everything, in a touch screen now 😵‍💫 Plus their base models are the cost of what I got my Mitsubishi fully loaded!

    Glad to see this interior getting some love. Mitsubishi seems to be doubling down on this model so hopefully they're putting their best foot forward.

    Matt, Sorry, I missed the last few streams so dam busy lately. I remember during your weekly Live streams several months ago, I mentioned about test driving the Mitsubishi Outlander, how amazed and impressed I was. I test drove in back in February when helping my elderly Mother look for a new car. The Mitsubishi is very, very impressive for the money, vehicle fully made in Japan, great warranty, well put together, priced very well for the "luxury" feel and look. My Mother liked it, but said it is really "too big" for what she needs, so we went with everyone's favorite the Subaru Crosstrek. The Crosstrek was the perfect size for her, The Crosstrek has a magic to it. I agree the Outlander is better than the Rogue, even though it shares the platform. Mitsubishi tuned it their way. Mitsubishi tuned the suspension, programmed the CVT differently, did laminated front side glass and better interior, sound damping, mitsubishi did more with the front seats. The outlander is a solid product, and the styling in person really grew on me, even has headlight washers. I appreciate you reviewing the Outlander to get the word out it is a solid product. Sadly, I know you won't get much views on these Outlander reviews, but maybe it will do ok. people have to realize you can't test drive Mustangs every week, your a car review channel. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Years to you and your Family. Have a good one, Rich

    Just got a new 2024 Outlander the other day. The dealership (High Point Mitsubishi in North Carolina) upgraded the warranty to 20 years, 200,000 miles. That’s got to be a solid car for them to warrant it THAT well. I traded in my old 2016 Subaru Crosstrek, which I did love and will miss but Subaru’s base models were more than my Outlander fully loaded and I don’t like how they put everything in a touchscreen now. Subaru’s warranty isn’t as good, either. Had the gold plus one on my Crosstrek and still had to pay out of pocket for things to be fixed. Don’t have to with Mitsubishi ❤

    Great review. Caveat for third row should be stated that it is for children only! I have no idea why all videos try to squeeze adults back there. Also, if the first row moves forward 3-4 inch’s, that certainly adds more leg room to 2nd row. Final thoughts are, if you have people in the third row, it is most likely only for short distance drives. SO everyone in the vehicle will have to sacrifice a bit, in order to get that 6th and 7th passenger to where they need to go.

    READ BEFORE YOU BUY! When it comes to the the mi pilot assist. You have to have it in cruise for it to activate and keep you centered. Then everytime you switch lanes via turn signal it will beep at you when you enter the other lane and it locks on to the lines again. So left turn signal, switch lanes, locks on with green steering wheel lit... BEEP. Then pass the car and go back to the right lane, locks on.... BEEP. No where to turn that off and super annoying with no volume control either. Also, when the Mi Pilot active you can't turn off the alarm for when you drift to a line on either side. This is usually the persons doing over the assist but it will give you a BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP when that happens and you can't turn that off either. So if those types of alarms bother you then this is not the car for you. I like my previous car which was a Hyundai and I could have the steer lane assist on all the time, cruise or no cruise and shut the annoying sounds off. I regret buying this car because of this...

    • @rapide12345
      @rapide12345 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@MirsTripwrong, the Outlander is not a rebadged Rogue, the CMF-CD Platform is co-developed, again co-developed, the ALLIANCE Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi shared the cost of the development and all of them are involved in the development, each manufacturer tests, designs, programs, and manufactures their cars to each of their own standards, they can share parts like infotainment display, powertrain and more but you can't call it a rebadged since Mitsubishi was involved in the development, and also the Outlander is built in Japan while the Rogue is not, that for me is a huge deal, the Outlander has one of the most beautiful fit and finish in it's class, the red diamond paint is one of the best on par with soul red in my opinion.

    • @rapide12345
      @rapide12345 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@MirsTripAlso the Outlander was previewed back in 2019 with the Engelberg Tourer Concept and way way back in 2016 with the GT PHEV Concept, and actually the digital instrument cluster is from Mitsubishi not from Nissan, the rolly gauges that you see were from the 2019 Pajero Sport.

    Not a bad interior for 30-35K but still way too much cheap looking plastic for over 50 IMO. Of all the manufacturers, Mitsubishi should be pulling out all the stops on offering high value per dollar. I just don’t see why anyone would pick one of these unless dealers practically give them away with incentives

      The interior materials are FAR above the other 3 main competitors, there’s no abundance of hard plastic. Even at the $52K price tag, this exceeds other vehicles like the Honda Pilot, so your comment is unfounded tbh.
