Great video. But I am confused. If there is STJ pronation then the adduction and plantar flexion of the Talus lets the tibia to internally rotate or internal rotation, which is like a medial rotation. This is the opposite of the lateral tibial torsion that you said also increases the Q angle. So, can you please explain how does pronation of the foot increase the Q angle if the tibia is internally rotating during excessive foot pronation? Thanks
Hi. Very informative! I can feel pressure, stress and pain around the kneecap. it makes my knee feel weak. How can I find the real reason for a large q angle and resolve my PFPS ?
@Seria kilo; thanks for writing up...as far as Q angle is related to alignment alterations its cumbersome to correct it with normal strengthen but ofcourse Q angle alteratiins that arises due to the abnormal forces on patella can be corrected to a great extent with properly analysied strengthining exercises. And about VMO yes band exercises can help a lot in strenthening Vastus medialis muscles, but isolated strentheing of VMO alone is debated( but its a prefect choice for whole vastus medialis muscles which includes VMO and VML
Beautifully explained sir but i have a question that in what condition medial femoral tortion and tibial lateral tortion can take place together ? Btw all doubts clear sir ✌️
Happy to hear adharsh ...and it can coexist in patholgies related to hip and knee..its more often like a compensatory startegy to minimise the problems due to changes that happens in any of joint in lowerlimb. For simple understanding it can coexist in cases of femoral anterversion.

sir can we can strengthen the leg and can we bring it too the normal conditions.
can we solve the problem of vmo by band exercises
