Pereira got win! Pereira got knocked out also. UFC is protecting Pereira from Ankalaev. Islam has 14 fight win streak and finished 7 of his last 8 fights.
Yes that’s all true but Pereira and Jones both have world championship in two different weight classes. This is Pound for Pound rankings so I have to factor that in heavily.
@@P4PCombatSportsPodcastI would say p4p king is someone who's the best at the moment and willing to fight anyone. I like Jon and Pereira but Jon is dodging Tom, Pereira is dodging Ankalaev. And I havent seen Islam do that. Also they are no longer double-chapm (Jon shouldn't be champ at all right now)
That makes a lot of sense. However I don’t know if it’s fair to judge Jon based on trying to fight someone like Stipe who is considered a great and it is also outside of his natural weight class. And when I look at Alex and how he has fought five times in roughly one year (against all former champions), I don’t think you can say he is dodging anybody. Islam is great, don’t get me wrong. I just think that there’s subtle things that played into my decision to rank him slightly lower than Jon and Alex who have both showcased their ability to compete in a higher weight class and thus demonstrating that their skills are superior to their opposition, regardless of weight class.
never rank again 😝
How did you rank them?

@@P4PCombatSportsPodcast Do you really know what p4p ranking is?
How do you define pound for pound?
