Chad and Claire
Hi kids, I’m so jealous of the food. That’s why Italy is the only country I ever really wanted to see, and experience especially the food and the wine . And I live in one of California wine country areas, literally across the highway from Korbel winery😊. Y’all just made me want to go there even more, omg ! Looking forward to your next food , stay safe have fun. Thank you so much for sharing as usual ❤️🌹
Italy and California do share many similarities. Especially the wineries, like you mentioned. Glad you enjoyed the video as always Deborah! :D
Hi Claire and Chad, I recently discovered your channel and I am very impressed with your professional quality travel and adventure videos. You are exceptional at storytelling as well as being very entertaining.
I wish Claire would produce more artwork suitable for framing for sale on your website.
Having watched many other channels, I cannot for the life of me understand why you do not have 10x the number of subscribers.
Stay tuned on that artwork!! Claire will be reopening the shop when we return home in mid September. She has been busy telling me all of her wonderful ideas on works she wants to create!
Thanks for your kind words! We have certainly learned a thing or two since we first started youtube, but each video is a fun creative challenge in itself.
They don’t have 10 times the subscribers because they clearly lack experience traveling , don’t know what they’re eating so can’t properly describe food, don’t read up on the history of places, and generally just go to the usual tourist places you find on every blog/list/vlog.
@@geoffreyk9164 You make some valid points here. Still, I think there is a certain level of professional polish with the channel that should compensate for what is lacking.
@@pw2883, I guess it’s all subjective, but personally, I’d rather hear from someone who is knowledgeable in food, clearly does their research, and is historically accurate than someone who can simply make a nice video. If people want to just have a fun video journal of a trip that’s one thing, but I think it’s farcical that someone is going to spend three days in a city that they’ve never been to and then be in a position to say what is “best”.
We were drooling while watching you speak about all the delicious food!
You food tour in Rome was a blast! We learned so much from your spaghetti class. Everything looked delicious. I liked also the thinly sliced, cured ham on top of the sliced cantaloupe, yummy! The pastry made of coffee and cocoa was worth the trip. And to top it off, we toured the famous and beautiful Pantheon of Rome, Italy.
Glad we could take you along Bodvar!
You think this was an accurate depiction? You need to find a real vlog about Italy because half of what they say is inaccurate.
Such fun experiences! Every time I watch one of your videos I don't want them to end! I wish they were longer. You guys make them so fun and joyful to watch that the time flies by so quickly. Thank you so much for sharing! Looking forward to watching more of your Italy tours 😍❤
Glad you have been enjoying them!! We do our best to keep in fun and informative. We are SO excited for the rest of our Italy series!
You really need to find a better content creator. These two don’t know many of the best places, they don’t know how to talk about food, they’re clearly too lazy to do research in advance, and they get scammed, which leads to other people overpaying.
I had to pause the video to go get something to eat...😋
Another enjoyable and informative vlog. Great idea to display the cost of each dish too 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!!
You guys are so lovely!
Hello guys from Greece 🇬🇷 I love your absolutely, FEEL GOOD VIBES 😎 That’s all we need, right? 🥰🥰 Claire I am hungry now watching you tasting all super Italian recipes.
Hello Ophelia! Hope Greece is treating you well! We miss it there! Glad you enjoyed the food tour! Many more food tours to come!
We love your videos, and have been following you since the days of your camper van across America. Both of you have such great personalities for this, which makes it fun. To use a food analogy, we just hope you're truly savoring the experiences rather than merely chomping through them. Producing videos chronicling your travels is wonderful (we do the same with photography), but please take time to truly 'live' the experiences too. You're both too good to do otherwise, and we wish you only the best in your experiential journey.
Steve & James from PA
Hey Steve & James!! It’s certainly a balancing act! We’re learning to savor. Don’t worry😁
Thanks for supporting what we do and encouraging us to enjoy the important parts of life😁
Thank you for sharing your adventure and a few moments of your life with us!
Our pleasure!
Hello from France
One of my best gastronomic memories in Italy is a ribollita, a Tuscan vegetable soup, which was served to us one evening, during a hiking trip in Tuscany.
another region of italy that I visited and loved is Sicily and the Aeolian Islands, is that you will go to this place
Ribollita sounds incredible! We can imagine having it on a crisp autumn day after hiking. Thanks for spending your time on us Christophe!
@@ChadandClaire Hello
precisely this hike was done at the end of October, so in the autumn
So enjoyable! Hunter is precious!
Love it guys! All the food looks sooooooo good 😋Also always so impressed how much you guys are able to eat in one video... it's a skill hahaha
Had Cacio e Pepe at Roma Sparita where Bourdain ate…simple & delicious
We also stumbled across a shop called Sant' Eustachio Il Caffè.. turned out its quite famous.. love their different coffee concoctions
Very nice. Thanks for sharing.🤝🌻👌🌷
Loved the video guys! It makes me jealous that you got to eat your way through Rome haha You definitely get some of the most delicious and unique foods in the world there!
Nice video
Just discovered your channel! Your videos remind me of 'Endless Adventure'!
Like your videos so far , especially your food tours... you two should do a trip to my home country of Panama... you will definitely enjoy it there , and hoping you like the food as well... looking forward to watching those videos from you guys.... 😊🇵🇦😎☀️
I absolutely love your energy and your descriptions of what you have ordered...it would be a better experience for us living vicariously through you if you would actually taste your food on camera and comment about the flavors :)
We typically do, but great point! We’ll make sure to taste it on camera next time. 👍
That’s because they don’t actually know what they’re eating.
My family and I went to Italy many summers ago and our daily staple was pasta, pizza and gelatos. We had so much that the kids got kind of sick of it after a week… imagine kids rejecting a sweet cold gelato treat. The cappuccinos were also diving, so potent yet smooth and not in the least bitter. We wanna go back but the prices of air tickets are too prohibitive.
Love your videos and can’t wait to visit Italy next season! Is it hard to eat lactose-free in Italy? Any advice (anyone)?
My favorite city in the world 🥰
SALUDOS DESDE 🇲🇽MÉXICO😊✌👍👍👍👍
Italy is a stunning country. We are dying to return one of these days. I, Marlon have a question about your gear. Are you guys using gimbals at all? I use a Sony zv 1 and a Go Pro 10 and while the Sony is excellent it lacks in stabilization and while the Go Pro is also excellent it lacks in detailed close ups and wind is sometimes an issue.
The cacio e pepe is such a food lovers dream as is the pizza! We had the best pizza in Siena. Ugh sooo good!
Hey!! We do not use any gimbles while we travel. We tried to once, but it didn’t really work out for us. I think had the technology gets better and smaller we will hopefully get one soon. We just use a gorilla pod and a camera strap. Sometimes a tripod as well!
Keep up the amazing work on your channel! You guys have great energy!
@@ChadandClaire Thanks for the response and information you two! Continue to enjoy your travels!
Dry pasta is way better than fresh pasta for maintaining a nice consistency when cooked, especially thin pasta (because it's brought to a higher degree of crystallization of the gluten protein lattice inside the dough and has a higher starch retention during cooking). That's why fresh pasta is usually thicker or mixed with some other ingredients (like gnocchi with potatoes) or used in recipe like lasagna and cannelloni.
Unfortunately drying pasta is a very complex process and can't be done at home.
Can I be really bold and ask where your shirt is from it's fab
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
To you know how much is taxis`_where is best to stay?
August is vacation month in Europe! Many (most?) Europeans, not just Italians, take the month off and travel. Small, local shops and restaurants that cater to locals are closed. Large cities and tourist destinations are crowded and service sill suffer.
Not the best time to travel, and certainly a difficult time to enjoy the sites without stifling crowds.
Hey when was this video made
The video was recorded on August 22nd and 23rd
You two are so cute!
Italy is such a sexy place
Does Chad just get the leftovers?
I wish! We are always fighting over the leftovers the next day haha.
C and C, 🧑👩🌹Great to be young and eat all than food 🍕🍧and stay so thin. 🤸♀🤸♂Love your channel!💖 Ciao🍷🍷🧔
Time will tell if we can keep our size, regardless we will just enjoy the journey and do our best to stay active haha.
You know you went to one of the biggest tourist traps when you pay 18 euros for a dish of prosciutto e melone!
0:10 it's NOT ROME! NOT THE COLOSSEUM! Not even Italy! Its Nimes, in France! 😂😂😂
Serious question: What makes you think that you can go to Rome for three days and suddenly you’re qualified to tell people what to see and where the best food can be found? I know this may come as a shock, but all of these places are found on basic lists on the Internet. This may come as an even bigger shock, but many of those places pay to get on those lists. People are much better off finding a good independent local guide if they need help and especially if they want to find the “best” local spots and not just what tourists consider to be the “best”.
The owner was kinda weird
Came here to comment this! Good thing it was someone they sort of knew otherwise that would've been downright creepy!
Come to Jamaica, land of mixed races 🇯🇲.
We like your videos but we miss the more organic feel. It would also be nice to see Chad - he seems to barely make an appearance these days.
you guys missed the jewish area ,amazing food
Beautiful legs, prices way too high
Videos should be more Claire, less Chad. He seems like a nice guy but lacks the natural talent and charm.
