Man I wish I was into the leagues of votann aesthetic😅 I would get into the army with this excellent box set, but 1) the state of votann now and 2) the aesthetic really holds me back

As a beginner in both 40K and leagues of Votann i'm really excited about this one, I'm not so much in the competitive side but more in relaxed game et crusade/ narrative at the moment with discord's community.
Tbh I think 2 Battleforce box and 2 combat patrol even if it brings you over 2k point is a perfect combo because it give's you 90% of the Votann model's, it's also giving you flexibility to try different lists and adapt as the codex will come.
All you have to do next is getting the Brôkhyr character and unit's to complete the collection.
At these point you'll get approximately 3k points unit enough model and variety to make fun game or crusade game and depending on the codex maybe competitive game as well (maybe not "serious" competitive, but small local tornament should be fine.
Having my very first game last week, playing 2 times i'll start getting a glimpse of how this army works and i'm honestly suprised by the potential tricks in mobility, deepstrike, resilience of this army.
This seems so fun to play and I'm glad that I choose this faction based on the looks of it and turns out not only very easy to collect but also balance on the board and fun for me, and my opponent's.
(Sorry for my English i'm french there is probably a ton of misswritting :p )
Thanks for the vidéo, keep the good work.

This will definitely be one of the first boxes to sell out pre-orders on the WH site. I think your correct in assuming this will be the box thats gets a lot more people into the faction. Objectively the models in the box are all of the best looking and best units the Votann have and thats no mistake on GW's part. This will pair very well with any of their previous box sets which is huge from an army builder and collector standpoint. I can understand the low points argument but if you think about it, the combat patrol is $160 for around 500 points. So paying an extra $70 for 250 more points isnt a bad deal at all. Now that I think about it all of the battleforces correlate to their CP counterparts in term of points and price
