With the lyrics the way they are, although the song is very pleasant and I do like it, it is the rap equivalent of Mr. Steak by Kishi Bashi in a familiar yet B.O.B.-esque fashion. I have suggestions as to how to go mainstream but I feel as though in doing so, this song would lose its heart, the very essence Anthm has created around the original sample by Bag Raiders.

For a few weeks I've been trying to decide if I like this song. I like the music but the rhymes are so lame. There is no depth in the rap. Simple AA BB rhyme schemes just seem lazy.
the real song here is 'Shooting Stars' by Baig Raders. and i'm not even sure how much freedom do these guys have in copying basically the entire song and add some bullcrap rap on top of it. bet this song will share the same fate as other acts of plagiarism and will get banned (from spotify at least) soon.
