How you looked over all those Mulino Biano biscotti and didn't grab a few, I don't know. Salute to your willpower. Acquaviva seems completely livable. It has what you think you need, and probably much that you don't yet appreciate: local people. Personally, I would not buy in a touristic city, or even a larger town. In a place like Acquaviva people take notice of a new neighbor and bring them into the community. Very important. A great tour of the property and the important surrounding area. Well done Sir. And on that second one, whoa, very "perfect is the enemy of very good".
I love your town tours. Very helpful and interesting to people considering a move or even just a visit. No stopping at Stop signs? I don't remember that from my driving trips in Italy. Hmmmm. I will stay alert when I'm there in the spring!
Happy New Year Brad and Oly from Upstate New York. I am getting closer to March. See yall then...Cheers and happy new year. Gina in Upstate New York USA moving to Europe.
Great video Brad! 👍🏻 Just curious about your olive garden. Since I wouldn’t know the first (or last) thing to do, could one hire someone to take care, cultivate and (perhaps) purchase olives from you during harvest season? Thanks. 🙏🏻
Some people do that. And you basically get a very small percentage of the oil. Unfortunately, our trees, or I should say the owners trees, we’re neglected so long that now it would be a very costly endeavor to get them back in shape for production. A few trees each are always produce a lot of olives. We harvested just four trees in our front yard this year and got 17 L worth of oil, that was about 160 kg worth of olives. One tree had 70 kg all by itself
I had a place in Tuscany near the town of Castelnuovo berardenga in the province of sienna. Your recommendation about going through stop signs is not what I experienced in the 15 years I live there. Further, I was just there for 10 days in December and didn’t observe similar things in that area. I know Italian drivers are crazy. They tailgate and they cut you off when they pass you. They also drive too fast, especially on mountain roads. However, going through stop signs is taking more of a risk than stopping. For all the time that I drove in Italy and that is approximately four years cumulatively I never went through stop sign
Oh gosh, I don’t know what to tell you. A lot of it was tongue and cheek, but I didn’t sit there all day waiting for someone to do it. I literally pulled up and the first eight cars that went through the stop sign didn’t even tap their brakes.
We have dampness in our farmhouse in the winter time. We use air dryers and also they sell some little boxes that trap water with a little ring that draws in moisture. It's early and I can't remember the name off the top of my head.
Normally I put a "House Tour starts at:" marker so people can fast forward to the spot... You can scrub forward with ease and there is no penalty for looking for it. A lot of people love the walk around/drive around etc and want more and more. 🤷♂️. Damned if I do, damned if I don't!! -BRAD
here is a thought. what do rich people do? they buy in Malibu, in Palisade. Not quite in LA but close. Miami, a hot area. The life is in towns, but not literally, as there are homeless there as well. So a Poor Man James Bond also wants his "Malibu". Maybe that "Malibu" is in Da Nang Vietnam, but you get the picture. Yes, there is a hospital. Just like in Kentucky etc. I am looking at the oceanfront renting in Da Nang 3 bed 2 bath for $400. Beaches, you eat tasty Vietnamese food for a couple of dollars. Let's just look at prices in the coastal Montenegro, which not long ago was a flyspeck in a hole. Millions of dollars?! and inland, you'll see houses like 6000eur and own a house (I still think there is a video about it). People want happening and are prepared to pay for it. I think 2025 is the year of resolution. will euro zone sink or not. if it does not sink, it never will.
I heard great deals in DaNang. My only issues is I spent 40 years of my life in hot and humid down in Texas and I have been to Asia many times, mainly indonesia and I know that it is at a whole other level in Asia. I couldn't live in it. I like my cold winter here in Tuscany (not that cold really) and my crisp morning year round. But if DaNang is your happy place then that is awesome.
The first apartment was nice but I want two bedrooms and a catina for that price...the second apartment is too over the top for me...definitely overpriced!!!
One of the best Italian real estate channels on the net. The additional footage on services, roads, surrounding real estate etc is extremely helpful.
Once again, a great informational video!
Thanks a lot!

Both places are beautiful.
Glad you liked them
Apartment?. Brad this is a mansion! Un palacio!!
Great view with the glasses. Great episode 👏
Told you I would get better! Just takes practice! THANKS!! BRAD
great vlog, thanks! still looking, we need to visit
Wow if the larger apartment was the entire building it would be wonderful. Agree with with you on the strong paint, but that is not hard to redo.
Beautiful properties - thank you for sharing! Love the driving tips and would enjoy hearing more...maybe a 'driving in Italy' video? 🚙💨
Been thinking about a driving video...
amazing frescoes on large apartment
now I want a tour of the green house

Paint looks like an episode of squid game! However joking aside amazing value and beautiful home. Well done !
Thank you! Cheers!
Brad, in Italy, Stop signs and Traffic Lights are "Only A Suggestion". I remember it well.
Right! It somehow seems to work well.
The driving up your arse I could do without however...!
You’re a vault of wisdom!
Thanks!
Bravo!
Grazie!
8:00 The restaurant is more serious about the stop concept than the sign is
Yeah, You got that right.

Love the 6 apartment building, is it 480 for all six or just one?
Uh…. Just the one…
An Italian friend of mine said Italian road laws are more like suggestions.

I got dizzy " riding with you "!
Worse on Video. But you would probably be hanging on for dear life. I got a lot of places to go and a short time to get there! 🤣
just so ya know Brad, people don't stop at stop signs here any more either...
I remember California stops… But I don’t remember go through the stop sign full speed.
The a sidewalk there looks narrow.
It is. And when the stores get busy around 6PM they have to park up on it so it is a little crazy. Most of the time it is pretty quiet,
Brad Brad, nearly 20 minutes before we see the bloody house. Bad bad bad

The problem with the stop signs are that they're written in English.
🤣🤣🤣
That’s that international standardization at work again. And it’s harder to fit FERMATI!

Not disagreeing with you for sure... I thought one bedroom is wonky. But I did think the place was nicely put together. Lots more to buy for sure!
