I've been on the Magic and Fantasy several times in the period 2010-2013 and these ships are a 20 hour (one way trip duration) experience that i can recommend everybody!

I have been in Color Fantasy in the summer of 2023 it was amazing and there is an aqualand on board i was so happy that we met color magic in the ocean and they started blowing their horns at eachother😂

Looks like they got a lot of their design inspiration from royal carribean
its built at the same yard in Finland, but you are correckt, its designed on the basis of a RCCL class

Great video, thanks. Some of that Norwegian shoreline reminds me of our Australian island of Tasmania - well worth a visit. And a bit warmer, too (usually!).
I was on the ferry in early october. Crazy to see the ship so empty, and with so much hand sanitizer. It’s currently getting one-upped with masks required everywhere. Still an unforgettable trip!

Wow, a beautiful ferry ! The inside street layout looks the same as some of the Royal Caribbean cruise ships, Voyager of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas (sister ships ) come to mind. Thanks for another great video.

Sobald man wieder Planen kann werde ich diese Tour buchen ! Ich wollte eigentlich mit Stena Line von Frederikshavn nach Oslo fahren aber diese Strecke wird leider nicht mehr von Stena Line bedient , so werde ich mit der Color Line jetzt mal diese Strecke befahren.

Bin Kieler Sprotte, und natürlich ist die Förde mein Revier. Meine Überfahrt ist einige Jahre her, der Wiedererkennungswert jedoch in eurem Video hoch. Als sehr nettes Schmankerl empfinde ich, daß der Stadt Oslo Platz eingeräumt wurde. Mein Urteil: Absolut sehenswert, sehr guter Mix, mit Liebe gemacht. Danke.

IMHO the video is full of the ferry, at the beginning exterior shots and then many interior shots (which are also part of the ferry).
Many visitors to this channel also want scenery. I think that's OK because it's the scenery (especially Norway) that makes a ferry trip exciting. I got comments like: Why so many ferries and only little scenery (which, by the way, was not correct either, because there is always scenery to be seen when I have the opportunity to film it)... I think you should all just take it the way the creator does it. 😉
@@JustFerries Imo the interrior is everything. And i think most people do. And the reason i asked was if you wheren`t allowed to film as much inside. It was far from a critiq on your video. So keep calm. 🙂
Oh, I'm very calm (comments where I don't stay calm, I simply delete😋),. You forgot to film the Danish brigde! It's around 18:20 when departing from Kiel!

You mean the storebælt bridge? That would come after passing Langeland not directly after departing from Kiel. And 18:20 is the Oslo fjord already...
Yes - this is all true. During passage of the bridge it was dark outside and I enjoyed the buffet. Why on earth would I interrupt it just to film a few lights of this bridge? But I haven't forgotten anything.
@@divingdave2945 When you depart from Kiel on the Colorline Fantasy or Magic ferries, you cross the bridge around 18:20. You don't get to the fjord until 8 o'clock on the next morning... OHHH WAIT! I got where you went wrong! I meant 18 o'clock and 20 minutes, not 18 min and 20 seconds in the video! :)) Cheers!

it's interesting the U-boat in Kiel is a k class u-boat that norway got in allied war spoils, it was given to the Norwegian navy in 1948 it served until 1965 when it was offered to the west germans for one deutsche mark, they refused it. it was saved by the german navy league it is now a open air museum ship at Laboe. her name in german service was U-995 in Norwegian service she was Kaura.

You know that too big for a ferry right ... that’s a cruise ship because boats with glass elevators are cruise ships
The size of a ship or the type of its lifts are not a criterion, whether ferry or not. Of course, this ship is a ferry, as it operates a regular service between Kiel and Oslo, has a car deck and belongs to a ferry company.
These ships are so gaudy and tasteless inside - they look like Las Vegas malls. No signs of culture whatsoever. Not like the ships of old, when the designers took more pride in their output.

You don't understand what you're talking about. Even the malls in Las Vegas have culture. Culture doesn't mean anything but "follow certain rules". Only because you don't like certain sets of rules doesn't mean there ain't any. If what you wanted to say is that the ship designer didn't follow a set of rules, but is all over the place with his style, well, I guess you will have a really hard time constructing a valid argument to that effect. Anyways, good luck.
