There rubber pads on the bottom of the keyboard aren't there to prevent the keyboard from scratching your desk, they're there to prevent the keyboard from slipping and moving around your desk when in use.

Pablo González Hermosilla keyboard wise, I use the HyperX Alloy. I moved from a Logitech keyboard which cost more, and the change from Roamer G switches to Cherry Mx Blues is very noticeable. I'm just speaking from experience.
Jec Look, i dont like the romer-g myself better than the cherry mx red, i use a k70 lux (because rapidfire feels like crap, and i had the money to buy it hahahaha). But saying its shit its simply not true, as i know of a lot of ppl who use romer-g switches and like it better than ChMX, because they feel faster and you dont need to press the key to the end to activate it, which is what i dont like precicely because i tend to use a lot of force when pressing keys, so they gey that mushy feeling everyone talks about. If you dont do what i do OR can get accoustomed to press ligthly (something i cant do because ive been pc gaming for more than 15 years and i just cant get rid of that habit), they are as good and arguably better than ChMx switches (or their knock offs). And ChMx blue suck for gaming, they are not fast enough.
Not sure why people seem to think Cherry MX and its clones are what mechanical switches are. There's Topre, Romer-G, and a few other obscure ones as well, this keyboard is in by no means rubber dome.
That "Joystick" looking button is and has always been known as Gaming Mode on all the G series keyboards that have ever had it, it hasn't always been a button though since it originally was a slider switch, what it basically does is it shuts down windows key as standard, you can make it shut down any other normal keys other than macros but this one doesn't have those anyway.
I was wondering if someone else ever noticed that about the review. I mean, just going to Logitech's product page would already tell you right on the header that these were mechanical switches. I just never knew that there was ever this misconception in the community that only Cherry MX or their clones are real mechanical switches.
Now I wouldn't necessarily say that, this is this man's living and I don't think he wouldn't take it so non-seriously, however it's easy to confuse not just misunderstand. Also considering most people only know of cherry mx it's understandable. That being said, if I was Logitech I'd be pissed, but he may have also misspoken. He has other Romer-G reviews not just this one, maybe he said it correctly in the other one.
Hey at least there is one company that can do RGB tastefully, without that awful backlight bleed like everyone else is doing right now. The problem is not being able to change the keycaps, since they're most likely gonna be very cheap ABS like every other gaming keyboard. Also FYI the Logitech switches are indeed mechanical, they do not "emulate" anything.
yes ! pretty much the same keyboard and more or less the same price and the master key pro s has a few more switch options . i have the masterkey pro s with brown switches and they have been great
To those who hate Romer-G switches, it all comes down to preference. I had both G610 with MX Red and G810 with Romer G side by side and i sticked to G810. For me, Romer-G is a better switch for typing and also it's good for gaming. They don't feel membrane at all and they are amazing when you get used to and manage to control your actuation force. I type way faster and more precisely on Romer-G than I did on MX Red. I don't say MX Red switches are bad, they simply are not for me.
i’ve had this keyboard for nearly 3 years now. while my switch preference has changed, that’s just a me thing. this board is amazing, and the only problem is that the rgb starts to become discolored on a lot of the keys, making it so that you cannot have switches be the same color. for example, if i make the keyboard blue rgb, it will be lots of shades of blue and sometimes even shades of green
4:31 Did you just state unironically that the keyboard isn't mechanical? You already had me wondering when you described the feel of these switches as trying to "emulate" the feel of mechanical switches. Frank, just because its not a Cherry MX or a clone switch doesn't mean its not a real mechanical switch! They feel different because they were designed that way, but I can assure you that there aren't any rubber domes or membranes in that keyboard.
Peter Parker A mistake that could’ve been easily avoided by doing a quick research on the product for like 3-5mins. It’s not that hard, it literally states in Logitech’s website that it’s a mechanical keyboard. All Frank cares about is pumping out videos despite what’s the content of it as evident in this video.

Hey Frank, ever thought of introducing Topre switches in this channel? Of course this is more of an enthusiast keyboard type of video though.
I personally recommend that you get the Corsair k65 LUX mechanical keyboard. It's definitely a lot nicer. I got it about 5 days ago and have been absolutely in love with it.
