My 2025 Tucson Preferred Trend is a remarkable vehicle, showcasing a refined naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine and seamless transmission. The advanced Htrac AWD system provides superior handling and control. The updated exterior (front grill and rear bumpers) expansive panoramic moonroof, The premium leather seats, increased cargo and legroom space create a luxurious atmosphere. The new digital cluster extension to infotainment, power lift gate and intuitive smart column shifter add to the overall sophistication of the car. Btw, I learned how to use my tucson because of your tutorial! Kudos Ed's Garage!
Great review. You really get into detail which was much needed since Im looking hard at buying a 2025 Tucson Hybrid. However I disagree with you about the rear blinkers being low and Im also a truck driver. They are practically impossible to see even with the space of a few car lengths. Not all rigs have downward sloping hoods. The biggest thing here is peoples eyesight is drawn to the taillights and brake lights the way the vehicle is designed, and it natural to expect any signal to be there as well. The problem isnt the people behind you paying attention, but someone that isnt paying attention. All of this needs to be taken into consideration when thinking about safety. As for being below the fog... that is a weak argument because any blinker, taillight, or brake light, will still be seen in the fog and the fog will illuminate. The reason fog lights are low is so they can produce wide direct lighting on the road. I appreciate the very informative video. Thank you.
I like the interior changes (especially the front storage area), I wish they change the placement of the front headlights and the back reverse and signal lights
Wow, thanks for the great tutorial video. I'm getting a regular SEL on Saturday. It looks like it had the older style shifter on mine.(???) Any reason for that? It's a FWD not AWD. Does that make a difference?
The SEL is slightly different, as this would be the same as the "SEL with convenience package." Also I'm in Canada so there will also be some slight differences because of that
Thank you. The gauge and screens look exactly the same but the center condos is slightly different. I was going to get a 2024 Santa Cruz XRT, but I think I've made a mental switch.

Stock is still pretty limited. Hyundai still doesn't give us nearly enough profit to successfully run a dealership without marking stuff up on some units. We had a 1500 markup on it, but to make the deal happen we dropped it down to about a 500 markup. But we still provided rubber mats, cargo tray and mud gaurds.... So basically no markup. This was a flat deal, meaning profit was less than 800 bucks. Check out car cost Canada, and you'll see why we need markups.
@@raidersamson3356 your tire shouldn't ever shred unless you've got it way over or under inflated. But you could also call roadside if it does. (5 years free roadside from Hyundai) Think about it... How often have you had a flat tire? Of those times, how many of those were so bad that it couldn't just be pumped up again and brought to a repair place? I'd rather connect a pump then change a tire, ESPECIALLY on a busy highway, in the rain. I'd rather roll on a proper tire then a silly temporary spare. Finally, if you REALLY want a spare, then go buy one for cheap at a wrecker and throw it in there, no one's stopping you. 🤷
Well, I can tell you the Tucson ultimate is $6000 less than the CRV touring in Canada. But still has more features. If you compare apples to apples, you'll see the Tucson comes in significantly lower priced at every trim level.
Yeah, you're right. In the USA, the CRV is only about a thousand bucks more. But the Tucson is still has more features and more power. But still the same average efficiency, crash safety score, total interior volume etc. Even reliability rating is nearly identical. Plus hyundai's warranty is much better. Especially in the US
@@edsgarage001 yeah, i'm strongly considering getting a Tucson, don't care about too much luxury but I like that they provide surround view cameras with good quality.

Holy gyatts! The refreshed Tucson is a lot better than when it was launched in 2022. Imagine having them, the SEL would be the best pick
It is indeed much improved. Thanks for the comment!

It's actually safer for them to be lower.
If there's any fog, these lights will be beneath it.

And what is the dealer markup on these? Have Hyundai dealerships in Edmonton still trying to get 3 and 4 grand over sticker on Tucson’s.

So when I switch the drive mode does the gauge cluster change upon which side selected and also does this have ambient lighting ?
Go to the 40 minute mark of the video.
But no, this trim doesn't have ambient lighting. You need to go up a trim level or two to get that.
