I see it is no different 8 years later for warlocks. Enter arena get focused the entire match. Just barely stay alive through every single other classes burst. If they get one crit, you die.

How do you double spell lock? I don't seem to get the cd reset with resummon pet (first interrupt with sacced), like you do at 11:12.
Sac your pet first, use spell lock, then Fel Dom + Summon new pet. It will reset on the pet bar but not with command demon. So you need a macro that has both
/cast spell lock
/cast command demon

Thanks for the amazing videos. I'm having such a hard time with getting globalled because we're dealing with 210+ geared people in 1300's. i unforttunately have to work sometimes and i'm still hanging around 186 or so. it's been hard just to even get conquest.
There's no other real way around it, you need better gear. Honestly, I'm not trying to be mean here, but if you're stuck at 1300 because you're getting global'd then there's something you or your partner could be doing better. Maybe you're not being mindful of addons that could help you track big cooldowns designed to global you, therefore you're not reacting in time. There's plenty of double-dps at that low rating and those should be free for any lock+healer combo. All you gotta do is focus very hard on the first 10-15 seconds of the game, if you survive that, you'll win every time. Against healer-dps, I can't really say I know much about Warlocks but they feel pretty mobile right now, albeit less tanky than one would expect. Circle, gate, soulshape, leap of faith, and the slow legendary seem to help a lot, but I don't know the matchups for sure since I don't really play warlock.
Locks do feel very weak though compared to other casters, their burst needs to be tuned down, their sustained damage brought up, and maybe make them a tiny bit more resilient to melees tunneling them forever.
@@bos7522 i usually sit around 2k, but i am finding it impossible to climb cause i'm at a gear deficit here. I am hoping atleast rank 7 gear can get me atleast a little caught up. Cause right now i'm strugging to even get conquest. My disc healer, who is my main got to 1700 before i had to leave, it was much better in the first and second week, when i got back, i leveled a warlock. got some gear so i could play with a healer friend and now i'm just getting blown away. my disc priest is having alot of problems that didnt exist before i left. The gear gap is stupid right now. I should also mention i do not have the legendary either because blizzard decided to make torghast wings completely random, the wing i need hasn't been open for a month
@@xeikai the gear gap between pure pvpers and pve'ers is pretty huge right now, until renown 21 especially. make sure you get 2-3 pvp rewards unlocked each week for the great vault, so you get good options and can eventually you catch up on gear. also having full 184 ilvl honor gear is like a minimum baseline, which you can get from bgs
@@bos7522 shadowcleave and RM are very bad for lock/healer.
@@Illestrapper I haven't seen a single shadowcleave in 2s this expansion yet. I play RM and I agree that we annihilate every Lock/Priest and Lock/Druid fairly easily, I solo the Warlock basically while my Rogue fucks around with the healer. Locks with Resto Shamans or Holy Paladins are pretty favourited against us though I feel. But we're talking at 1300 rating here, teams with a healer should always win at that mmr in my opinion since low rated double dps players aren't familiar with the concept of multiple goes, they just tunnel for 20 seconds and either win or lose at the end of it.

It's not an addon, it's a script Chan runs using a macro. I found it tedious as you have to run it every /reload or loading screen so I made an addon that does the same thing passively, the macro can be found in his macro video. I use 226/213 over 184 always regardless of secondaries, and 200 over 184 only if at least one secondary is Haste or Vers
Not sure about the usage of "Rapid Contagion". It worth 3 shards.. under what circumstances you prefer to use that over 3 casts of "Malefic Rapture"?

I think the best way is to get trinkets, then cross cc and kill in a chastise. I'm fairly sure that's why he's playing with a holy priest, chastise and mind games to finish games off
They do insane damage they also take insane damage and die in 1 sec.

Whats the reasoning behind not sacrificing your pet in certain matchups?
For the rogue/mage match up, he can dispel the mage or int it while cc'd.

Its not the lag, its a priest mind control bug, happens all the time and needs to be fixed, it gives me so much anxiety

@@zekapeka1176 oh it doesnt require u to be mc'd during it, it just glitches out for the rest of the game if u get mc'd just once XD it's actually pretty gamebreaking when trying to land dragon's breath, ring of frost, etc..

Because it makes corruption stay up longer and with the rolling agony soul bind you can spend more globals on cc and rapture.

pretty sure the feral had a rip uptime on 70% and it looks like the feral uses slash more than shred :)
I am watching the lock get chunked for 25% repeatedly, while producing completely inconsequential damage themselves on the enemy. I quit wow 10 years ago for the 4th and final time. All for the same reason. Warlocks are shit at pvp, but i want to play a warlock.
