Dude. You have a Gibson Signature Guitar. That’s one one of the coolest things that could possibly happen to a guitarist in any possible universe. What an acknowledgement of your talent. When i started getting better at guitar 3 years ago, I asked my parents if they would get me one for highschool graduation. They said sure. A local music shop, Russo’s Music in Asbury Park had this Cherry Red Les Paul Special DC with P90’s and I thought it was gorgeous! Loved it and the next day my mom bought me that and a Fender Blues Deluxe 40 Watt Combo Amp, w/ the Yellow Tweed. I played that thing for over two years and finally got back into playing it again and remembered how much I love this P-90’s sound. The guitar will always be named, Jami. My mothers name. The stories we all share or have in music coincide sometimes, like our love for this guitar (even though mine was the 2019 reissue Les Paul Special DC)!😂Much Love and peace to you Mr. Beato!🤙❤️🎸
You're a very humble dude, your family taught you that. Raising money and giving back to music shows your big heart. I love your signature guitar, absolutely beautiful.
I'd been longing for a blue P90 ever since the Reverend Club King 290 a few years ago, and had missed out on that one. I was fortunate enough to be up early today and purchase one. Most of all, really glad this is benefiting music education in schools.
As humble and modest, as you are. Congratulations on this prestigious acknowledgment of you, as a person and musician. I cannot think of a more deserving and nicer guy to receive this nod. A true gentleman .
As an educator myself (and in your old haunting grounds of Ithaca, NY), I really appreciated the story behind your collaboration with Gibson on this. Congrats on the Beato Signature LP Special, Rick! -Tom
Rick, congratulations on getting this guitar made in your name. What a treat. I must admit although I’m not a huge Gibson or LP fan I really like the look of this. And I love that you’ve donated to charity. Such a great move on your part - you continue to be a great inspiration musically but also as a genuine guy. Rick, this seems like a win win. Your dream guitar made reality, and it's sale gets to help a cause you support. My hat is off to both you and Gibson for this partnership.

The story behind this is almost as wonderful as the finished product. Kudos to you for keeping the integrity in this project and pushing the ego to the side. Inspiring.
This is without a doubt, my favorite guitar style! My first guitar of this style was a Hamer Sunburst and I loved it. I loved the thin neck, the upper-register access and the body shape. It fit with any genre and didn't have a particular look about it. My #1 is still a copy of this guitar with a quilted top. Of all things, it's a Harley-Benton that I put '57 Classics on, and I love it. It takes me back to that beautiful Hamer that I let go.
Mr. Beato, my name is mario Molina I am a big of your back in black guitar solo that you did and your double cut les Paul is awesome to look at. Thank you for making classic hard rock great again
Hey Rick, my great grandpa has a similar history. He came from Italy to work on the railroads in PA, saved up, and sent for the rest of the brood. Also, my daughter's first guitar last Christmas: Les Paul Special. Thank for the great videos!
Now you have your own Gibson; I'm sure your grandpa is as proud of you, as you are of him. Being an Italian descendant from early 1900 emigrants to (South)America, I'm pretty sure I share the feel. Congrats and thank you for all the joy you bring with your videos!
A massive congratulations to you Rick! You are more than well deserving of this beautiful instrument and that is something that I would like to believe that everyone on this community will agree on! 💙🎸🎵 You are an amazing teacher to us all and we love you and thank you for it Sir! Cheers from Sweden! 🤘😎🎸💙
I remember in high school we were watching a pat metheny concert in the music room. Congrats on the amazing channel and all of the achievements. You’re a legend

(I'm going to say my thought anyway) Your creativity takes straight ahead music theory(s) and blows them up to jaw dropping possibilities. I love melodic lines and they just pour out of your brain! 😁
Amazing sounding guitar too.
Rick, I salute you! Having just watched your video about receiving your new signature Gibson double-cut Les Paul special. I have always been impressed with your playing and teaching, but to me your openess, warm heart, and altruistic attitude come together to make you a really special guy. The fact that give your proceeds to children's charity's make you extra special in my book. Thank you for remaining a real honest and endearing man!
Pelham blue is such a sweet color! Awesome signature, even cooler that it supports an important cause. Great to hear your family backstory and history w Gibson...Now I want a guitar with P90s 🙉🤘
If anyone should have a signature guitar, it is Mr Beato! Such an amazing ambassador for music, both through listening to music as well as playing and a promoting a better understanding of how good music 'works'! And such am amazing cause to donate the profits to!
Congrats Rick!! You are awesome!!
Most of what I could say has already been said by so many others. You are a legend and inspiration to so many of us. Stay classy Rick!
3:03 - this is what a GREAT salesperson would ask after being told NO
The story of your Grandfather brought me to tears , thank u for all you do Rick !
It’s a beautiful guitar. Love that Pelham blue and the double cut model. Good things must be shared 😁🤙
Rick, you are a humble, good hearted man. God bless you and your family.
Rick, this seems like a win win. Your dream guitar made reality, and it's sale gets to help a cause you support. My hat is off to both you and Gibson for this partnership.
Learning to play a musical instrument can be one of the greatest things in the life of a child. Four of my five grandchildren are learning piano. The fifth is two years old and will start at four years. I am 75 and my oldest granddaughter who's 12 is teaching me to play, since it's never too late.
Clicked for the instrument, stayed for the family history and applaud the charitable motivations. Congrats Rick
My music teachers were the only ones who could get through to me when I was young. I'm thankful for them every day! Super cool of you Rick!
Good man. I love that you’ve donated your proceeds to educating children in music.
Congrats Rick! What a wonderful monument to your playing and teaching 💜

Outstanding, Rick--donating the proceeds from the sale of the signature guitar to help children. You're. A. Hero!
What a great advocacy Mr. Beato.....donating proceeds of your guitar sales to a very worthy cause. Congratulations and more power and success to you sir!
What a beautiful way to encourage kids to like music. Keep us posted on the success of this fundraising.
Rick, could you ever, in your wildest dreams, imagine that you would have a signature guitar and from one of the most acclaimed guitar manufacturers in the world. I think you have bragging rights in any studio you walk into now. And really awesome gesture donating your cut to charity. Congrats! your deserve it.
Wow Rick, this is ace. Bravo to you, not only is this a fantastic achievement and testament to your dedication to music, it highlights you as a person, having all your proceeds go to charity. Class act 🤝.
You’re a good man Beato, helping others instead of just profiting. You have some good Karma that the universe owes you my friend. I’m glad for you!
Most times one can see the teacher if he wants. I think that's what I like the most. Well done , Rick!
Well deserved. Perfect color. The Pelham blue was already my favorite color of your guitar collection. Cried @4:41 . You're a great man, Rick.
I've been pining (no pun intended) for a double-cut LP Special for about a decade. Well-done, Rick.
A massive congratulations to you Rick!
You are more than well deserving of this beautiful instrument and that is something that I would like to believe that everyone on this community will agree on! 💙🎸🎵
You are an amazing teacher to us all and we love you and thank you for it Sir!
Cheers from Sweden! 🤘😎🎸💙
I remember in high school we were watching a pat metheny concert in the music room. Somebody noticed metheny a guitar had his name on a plate on the 12th fret and our instructor said “when you get as good as him you can have your name on your instrument too”
Safe to say you’ve made it haha. Congrats on the amazing channel and all of the achievements. You’re a legend
Brother, just when I thought I couldn't admire you anymore?
Its one thing to have *GIBSON* offer to make you a signature line of guitars.
Its another to have them dedicate the proceeds to a kid's music fund.
Well played, sir.
Nice to see he's still a coach at heart, giving back to kids!
Awesome! It’s about time this happened! ❤️👍 congratulations
No one is more deserving of a signature guitar than Rick, the hardest working guitarist on RUclips
Ciao RICK ! i myself bought your guitar in Italy brand new and maybe the last one left , i'm glad of having it in my room at last !
Ciao fai il bravo e continua cosi , un abbraccio from Milan Italy

Fantastic to be giving the profits to charity Rick, what a brilliant move! Also that bound neck just looks stunning. Great job!
You have always been a class act and donating your profits to Save the Music solidifies that status.
Just when you think Mr Beato couldn't get any more awesome. Signature Gibson and donates all proceeds to music charity. Freaking amazing. Thank you sir!
