So awesome. Thank you for sharing this wonderful footage. Had I been there, and it was allowed, I would have been down there with that guy having snow poured all over me. I can only imagine the sound of that incredible machine.
Simply awesome! Love those rotaries! Boy, am I glad the WPRM has this one!
I wish they had the steam boiler working! The steam around the rotary, as well as the unmistakable whistle, add to the awesome effect of the rotaries in action.
Pretty Cool action there, nice job restoring and operating 208!
Watching from Queens 👸 NY. The train 🚞 🚊 🚂 is heavy & powerful. The heavy snow is no match for it. Love ❤️ your video. Thank you 🙏 for uploading. Appreciate it. I’ve subscribe.
Awesome video MP!
Very cool. 🥶
A great sight to see.
Do you all have the Snow on the Run video that documents SP Rotary Snowplows and snowfighting on Donner Pass in 1951? That's an awesome video.
Awesome! I gotta go there in the winter.
keep those rotary snow plows alive and working might never know when you will need them
@trainmanauxl1 Its a Leslie A-200 single chime.
NUTHIN BUT NET!!! GREAT Job WPRM
What year was the video taken?
does this one still have the steam whistle on it like the ones UP has?
diggin the high-hoods
What power is used to turn the blades?
Now that's a party!!
Does anybody know what happened to SD9 4404?
It broke and the WPRRM sold it to Western Rail Incorpirated who sadly converted it to a low hood.
Was that the plows horn @ 0:49?
