It's definitely fun if you go in playing it like Rick and Morty characters playing D&D rather than D&D playing Rick and Morty. DM thought he was a smart guy throwing us the random pregens with reversed genders like me as Beth, his little sister as Jerry, some friend of hers as Morty, etc. Thinking it would be this awkward stumble. Instead it really turned into one of those parallel universes where it's just all the characters are gender reversed and he even did the "omg...THEY'RE CO-DEPENDENT" line lol
Got this as a house warming gift. Im a long time gamer (35 years now) and experienced game master for Call of Cthulhu and Cyberpunk 2020 (lol), but not D+D as Im not that much of a fantasy fan, but Im a huge Rick and Morty fan, the box has inspired me to run it and perhaps get further in D+D (most likely not but whatever)
Hey! This kit seems so Nice! I’d love to run this adventure as a DM...can this set be played with 1 DM and 2 players or is this impossible? Kind regards :)
Exactly the vid I was looking. For . My buddy that's house ridden is often bored so me we wanted to get into DND and all our friends like Rick an Morty
Im a huge rick and morty fan and want to get tinto D&D, only issue is despite all being rick and morty fans, rick and morty isnt enough to persuade any of my friends to learn or try D&D
I didn't run the adventure. No. I read through both the rule book and the adventure twice. Amazingly enough that's more than some reviewers out there. You don't honestly think reviewers actually run every RPG adventure before sharing their thoughts about them? The point of the video is to give people a feel for what they're getting, and if it's worth a purchase, without dropping spoilers everywhere. ~ Jeff
@@Thegaminggang yeah you did a great job explaining the set REVIEW just doesn't seem like the right word lol. But then again any campaign can be fun if played well imo
What bothers me is that it's very clear that the "Rick and Morty artwork" is clearly not drawn by the original artists. The proportions are just totally off
It's actually pretty well done and exists as yet another starter set of D&D. It's certainly far, far better than the disaster that was the Stranger Things D&D release. ~ Jeff
I got this to try to get my dad into dnd. He now runs campaigns at game haven.
Yes lol
I will definitely run the Rick & Morty adventure between campaigns as something fun and a change of pace.

My favourite part of this video. 0:20
All featured monsters are also in the starter set.
It's worth it for the adventure, the screen and the dice. I like it!
This is my first D&D set
Enjoy!
@@Thegaminggang Thanks 👍
Me and my brothers are playing this on Friday for the first time. We're all pumped!
Have fun!
I love Rick and Morty and I love D&D but I never played as a DM. Would this be good to start as a new DM?
This is perfect for getting started. The boxed Starter Set and Essentials Kit are also prefect for getting the ball rolling. ~ Jeff
does anyone elses character sheets have typos in the mods? mine has several
Yes I think its supposed to be like that
Several errors, major oversize especially if you read the comics; even then the alternative character sheet covers may have had errors...

I have to say that's an interesting choice for a house warming gift. :) ~ Jeff
Is there a way to just get the module separate from everything else.
Not to my knowledge. ~ Jeff
@@Thegaminggang Thanks anyways. The was a fan of Rick and Morty in out group, and I like gonzo adventurers however I have enough rules.
One word for you, @Jackofhearts22... EBAY!!
Dnd beyond
I also like the dice!!!
They're pretty slick looking. :) ~ Jeff
Wasn't the comics made by oni press?
I think Oni was involved and did some variant covers but the main publisher is IDW. :) ~ Jeff
I don't like the black borders of the books but the idea of a D&D and R&M mix is cool.
Dm screen and dice is worth the $15 I paid for it alone
I've never even heard about this and thought it could be a thing. I was just searching for something I can put against D&D in a This Vs. That poll! :)
Nice review, Jeff!
Perfect we’re just getting into DnD. This will be perfect for us
Enjoy!
I wish they made mini figure for this board game
Eaglemoss do rick and morty figures that could make a decent stand in

Just like most adventures, a good GM can tweak the difficulty to allow for fewer players. :) ~ Jeff

Is the screen the same material as the standard dm screen?
The GM screen is pretty standard card stock. ~ Jeff

Sorry to say that leaves you pretty much out of luck then...
Thanx for the input
I’m buying this to get the kids/teens into dnd
It's great for kids and teens to get into d&d
Just bought this fore my little brother planing on trying it out with his friends as a dm.looks good.
I wonder if you’ll run into Probabilitor in this campaign. True cartoonists/theorists will understand
Looks nice and probably a fun read but yeah as a d&d fan i probably would never play it even tho i like the show.
you sound like rick
Can this be played solo
No. Wizards of the Coast hasn't released anything for 5E D&D which can be played solo.
Wait, you didn't play it? That's like reviewing a movie without watching it lol. It is a great price for what you get though.

Just looking at this, it's a gimmick. It might draw some new people to d&d but at the same time seems like an afterthought on things to sell...
