Jerry Lawler was the main guy in the Memphis wrestling league in the 70s and 80s. I watched the Memphis wrestling show for years on Saturday mornings when I was a kid. I lived in Oxford, Mississippi, and the network affiliates we got were in Memphis. Unfortunately, I moved to North Carolina a few months before the Andy Kaufman saga began. I really wish I had stayed in Oxford and seen that classic wrestling drama. It is the greatest episode in the history of professional wrestling. It is some of the best entertainment of any kind that ever happened.
