wouw..! when first start to watching; i though iam watching very big budged movie. using drone and show whole area from sky . thats amazing. you made hvac videos higher level. thanks for sharing your knowledge, experience and you inspire many new tech like me. stay safe.
Ryan, do you have your own drone? Regarding the one with about 10 issues, including heat exchanger, motor contactor, board, burners, etc... What's left? Isn't that a whole replacement? Alacarte has got to be more expensive, no?
WoW! Excellent video. Talk about professional starting. My god buddy good work. Really loved the Diagnostic as well, lots of work needed on that puppy. too bad the one two Nilly didnt work on the pressure switch, however that mommas undergarments were old and stale anyways!!! Great work Mario Lemieux !!!!!
Excessive on the diagnosis, I would have recommended some of the repairs, but if the motor hasn’t failed, most people want to let ‘em run till they fail. They could probably get another couple of years out of that blower. No question the heat exchanger failed, but changing the control board, gas valve??? You want to be thorough, but not rape people. With the blower motor, safeties, control board, etc. it would be better for them to replace the unit than do all of that. I tell my customers the truth and let them decide. The unit could have been brought into safe functional order without ALL of that. Also with that being a 410a unit, not r22, it probably does have a leak. By all means tell the customer about everything you found, but damn, recommending all that. With all that it would be a better investment to replace. I would give them the truth of what I found, tell them I can bring it back safely with this, but it’s time to consider replacing this relatively soon. Many times the customer doesn’t even care about heating so much, just get it to straight cool then shut off gas valve and disconnect heating call. I do whatever I can safely so people can get as much life out of a unit as they can. It’s just a waste to invest that much into an aging system like that, get it to run let them get the life it has left and put the rest of that money towards a full replacement.
I see what your saying, the facilities companies we work with ultimately decide what they are going to approve and what they aren’t. I totally dropped the ball on the refrigerant. Personally I think the safety switches are good practice but I recommend as much as I can so when the motor they didn’t approve dies 1 month later we can have documentation that we recommended it. I appreciate your comment and opinion. Thanks for watching.
@@HughesManHVAC I see what you are saying, we do property management companies too. First job I went on I put r22 into a 410a system, we are all human.
You condemn the low pressure switch and say that its a r22 sys when it clearly says on the side its a puron 410a system. If that is the case it is in fact low on refrigerant and probably opened up that pressure switch.
Its great and all that you are replacing all the parts going bad but where do you find clients willing to pay for this? Our clients are shitting a brick about replacing contactors.
You are right man! I find myself saying the wrong things the older I get. Lol 😂 I'm sure you would probably catch some other slip ups in other videos too. Thanks for watching man!
You da MAN! A simple sharpie marker could have saved you all that time fooling w/ a ladder. I have to admit...There was a part if me that was hoping the roofers huffed all the refrigerant will they were up there. Grocery bags & empty dorito bags laying everywhere around the unit. 😂😂😂 #refrigerantgivesyouthemunchies
You are 💯 on that. I can't believe I made such a rookie mistake! I will be addressing this mistake I made in a video tomorrow and I also updated the description on this video to inform everyone! Good eye man. Thanks for watching.
4.5 years into the trade and only done residential. I’m making the switch into commercial in the next few days and I’m so glad I found your channel!

Thank you Dragon! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Inducer needs a delay on break to get all that humid flue gas out. Probably is underfired as most equiptment leaves the factory lean for safety.
Holy chit. Just sellanew unit at that point. Must not have much work
Great video as always. Thank you for sharing

We give the customer the option of unit replacement vs repair. I make sure to cover myself.
Mr. White HVAC 😎🤙

Hey Ryan I swear you said that was a r-22 unit yet it was a 410a unit?
