Thanks Ken, really enjoyed the tour
Thank you for the walk about Ken. Loved it !
That was an awesome trip!
Thanks for preview, looking forward to trip in October for 30th anniversary. Spanish steps reminds of Dylan’s When I paint my Masterpiece!
What a fabulous trip🍧
It was Mazzy!
Wonderful/interesting video work. Really captures the soul of the Eternal City (as much that can be recorded in a short video). Viewing the last somber part, I could not help but think that history repeats as witnessed with ethnic cleaning/genocide in Palestinian Territories.
History tells no lies when viewed through the eyes of the defeated
Beautiful video. Love Rome, haven’t been there in many years though. Hope you had some fried artichokes in the Jewish ghetto! PS - can you provide a pointer to the very appropriate soundtrack?
Ken, love the channel and you are just such an amazing encyclopaedia of information which you freely share with us. Thank you so much.
On your video I do have to be a little offended at the hanging of the Israeli flag, given the genocide in Gaza... I'm not sure why that was there.
Obviously, I abhor the genocide in Germany and the reaction of countries after the genocide in not helping the Jewish people...disgraceful beyond belief...but that does not justify punishing the Palestinians.
Anyway, thank you for the content and sorry for the aside into politics but... you did focus on it (perhaps inadvertently).
Any comment I made re Israel was re the Holocaust, nothing more. Thus the wall sign showing Nazi's rounding up Jews in the Ghetto. Any Palestinian reference is yours. What happened to the Jews in the Holocaust can never be erased or denied. The horror stands.

Love me some Rome, if you have a bum time, meal or anything, you're doin' it wrong
Hello Sir
Hmm, not seeing Fat People, Cigarette Smokers or buts on the ground ,
No loose trash , very little spray paint on buildings ,
it's quite nice but seems quite old like NY,NY that I visit .
How is it that a record store guy can afford pricy trips to Rome ???
Of course, you of all people deserve this luxury !
Beautiful Camera Work , you could probably do a very nice travel channel like Bald and Bankrupt
Nice Work
Tony in Venice Florida
;)
Your just jealous of someone's good fortune.
You know the record store job is just a weekend side hustle for Ken, right? He has a day job.
As a New Yorker that lived thru the seventies and eighties, I detest graffiti. Although I spent a great deal of time in Italy in the late sixties and early seventies, It appears that some of the cities are overrun with graffiti. I find it appalling.
i wouldn't let graffiti, sickness, or old age stop me from seeing the world. I claim two of the above.
@kenmicallefjazzvinylaudiop6455 the graffiti in the Centro Storico district of Napoli was particularly nice, I found. I can't speak so much to the rest of Italy (I found Rome had much less graffiti), but it is part of the culture there. It even contains the only Banksy in all of Italy.
