Hi Shamza, I tried your chicken pot pie today. It’s a bank holiday weekend and I thought ‘why not’. This is the first time I have ever made a pie and the first time I have used a puff pastry sheet! I copied your recipe but left out the chilli powder and I couldn’t believe how tasty this turned out!! It was that tasty that I ended up eating the pie on it’s own! The only thing I will do differently next time is, I won’t make it slightly saltier when I taste the mixture - just my preference. A suggestion for you, if you don’t mind - when you say ‘my heat setting is a 4’, please always state what a ‘4’ is on your setting. You normally do say ‘that’s a low to medium’ but sometimes you don’t. 😀 In the past, whenever I watched RUclips videos, they were always different videos by different people. You are the first person who’s videos I keep coming back to because your recipes are so easy to follow! I love the fact that you do Asian recipes as well as English, and you sound so posh (in a good way!) Thank you for sharing. I have subscribed to your channel. 😀

You need a cooking series on TV I would 100% watch it your passion and love for cooking really comes through I love watching your cooking videos theirs something really comforting with watching you cook and listening to your excitement throughout 😊
I did a few things different. Not that I thought it would make the recipe better, but just to use the ingredients I had at hand. I used half and half, instead of cream. I used canned peas, instead of frozen. I used chicken broth, instead of chicken stock. I used baby bella mushrooms. It still came out great! The flavor was just right! The baby bella mushrooms gave it so much flavor. Next time, I will use more chicken, and I want the crust to roll out a little thinner. It’s a great recipe. Easy for cooks with limited experience. I will make it again. Thanks!

This has become a staple comfort food for me, I use up chicken drumsticks pulling off meat and using stock to cook vegetables down then top with a Shana paratha and in oven it’s a great pie for one! ❤

Am sorry but this is the worst receipe ever!!! I have made this several times and probably put on a stone 😂😂 i am not lying but i could easily polish the dish in 2 go's! Its the first recipe i tried from here and its amazing ,simple and soooo delicious. I have got told i make nice chicken pie- when all credit goes to you shamsa.
