So I feel like Hacksmith started selling Lightsaber kind of deals.. probably made a deal with some manufacturer in China, ended up with a retail price of around $50 for the "mini saber".. then I guess somehow the same design started getting rebranded and sold as just plain electric lighters. AI throws together military grade stories for ads and RUclips runs them so this rebranded scam product can sell for $40. Meanwhile the same product is found all over Amazon advertised as what they actually are, butane torches with adjustable flames, and you can get them for like 15 bucks 😂
They lied about it not using fuel and being plasma but also clearly showed it was a traditional fuel burning flame in the ad and it didn’t look like a plasma at all. Plus no device this small could house a powerful enough battery to produce a plasma “flame” like that anyways. Tremendous wattage would be required for anything like that.

the add i saw for this thing says it is 100% electric not lighter fluid or butane needed yet i saw a butane refuel port on the bottom of it and you can here the ssssssss of the butane coming out of it. also the sheer size of it makes in impractical to carry around for survival.

Just saw an ad for this even in their own ad you can tell it is a butane lighter. It seems to be a perfectly fine lighter but their ads are blatant lies. Even the part about it being military developed is false. Being a veteran myself I have strong feelings against people falsely using the military uses it ploy when it was never a real military item.

I thought it was a scam! My wife owns a true arc lighter and it's basically just like a miniature stun gun and can only really light candles or anything else that fits between the two prong with it. This looks like the windproof biker lighters that started becoming popular in the early to mid 90s that could resist wind at highway speeds (I forget the spec). They were also much smaller than this at the time.

Transportation of butane is hazardous material so assume receiving it empty and be prepared to fill it up with a butane filler, a large tank, the zippo brand 3x pack 75 ml cans cost about $12
Followed the ad and bought two. Got butane lighters. Figured I had followed the wrong ad (they do have another ad for a butane version) and bought another after assuring I had the right ad. Another butane lighter. When contacted they told me they do not currently have the USB version and was offered a refund of half the cost. Said I wanted it all back and they did with no problem - didn't even want the lighter back. SCAM!!! Have infomed YT! No feedback and the false ad still runs.

Can be bought from that big South American river place for less than half of their special price. This is a total scam. I ordered 2 "plasma lighters". There is no USB port, one small instruction sheet, approximately 1.5 inches X 1.5inches, with broken English on one side Chinese on the otherside. I called them immediately and was offered an additional 75% discount. I took the discount because my grandson thinks they are cool. I also didn't want to argue. In their defense they did issue the refund quickly.

Big awkward clunky butane torch with piezo ignition. My wife’s culinary torch is handier, and great for thawing locks. I carry an Eagle Torch in my pocket, and I own full sized BernzOmatic torches. This thing is a misfit, and this video is not a review.
another false fact: claiming that it can burn through steel, wrong. the melting point for steel is 2000 degrees, (a college welding class taught me that much) there is no way this can get anywhere near that hot.

Bona fide buyer here: It's a scam. It does not recharge with a USB. It only recharges with Butane gas.
I ordered one and called my credit company. My credit company credited my money and they still sent the lighter to me. I hate to send back. What should I do?
This is a total scam. I ordered 2 "plasma lighters". There is no USB port, one small instruction sheet, approximately 1.5 inches X 1.5inches, with broken English on one side Chinese on the otherside. I called them immediately and was offered an additional 75% discount. I took the discount because my grandson thinks they are cool. I also didn't want to argue. In their defense they did issue the refund quickly.
You can recharge it alright, with butane. Very deceptive ads that actually claim you don't need fuel.
I agree that false advertising is dirty as hell. With that being said, I don't understand how so many people are falling for "tesla coil technology" making fire without fuel. I was taught in elementary school that 3 things (heat, oxygen, and FUEL) are essential for fire. Removing any of these will extinguish any fire

Yeah this one is a scam, but I have a 4 arc, completely electric that uses no fuel. It makes a longer glance by increasing the electrical current. The way it makes a flame is because it has vents at the lower side of the arcs. If you close off the vents around the top, it just has four crisscross arcs. It uses Tesla coils. It works for pretty good while as long as you don't make a large flame. If you keep it on a small plane at last for a long time. Although you're not going to get one for $40... more like $180. Or at least that's what I paid for

You can use that little round port on bottom to fill it.
Light the box it came in on fire. Then throw the device in the burning box to see if it uses butane fuel. Then you can sue the company for false advertising and get a new house.
Big awkward clunky butane torch with piezo ignition. My wife’s culinary torch is handier, and great for thawing locks. I carry an Eagle Torch in my pocket, and I own full sized BernzOmatic torches. This thing is a misfit, and this video is not a review.

another false fact: claiming that it can burn through steel, wrong. the melting point for steel is 2000 degrees, (a college welding class taught me that much) there is no way this can get anywhere near that hot.
I use this lighter to do my wielding instead of the conventional gas oxy-acetylene! Save money and great micro form factor too!😊 Have to turn down the heat temperature since it is so powerful!😮 I got the real SF version that not available for the general public!😊
