Well I also suffer from depression but most of the time there really is no solid reason for it however traumatic experiences as a child definitely can contribute to it.

I suffer from depression anxiety bi polar ... heavy drug use and alcohol... this man was going through the same exact thing... you feel like medication and therapy doesn't help you feel alone and very sad you don't have any hope all you have is your addiction and the thoughts in your head and no one understands but you you can only get yourself out no one else its only a two way street dark or light I've been going through this since a child its unexplained no one can tell you how you feel in your own soul... hope your in heaven Lil peep ... missed

Well part of the reason for his depression was his dad walked out on him and his mom when Peep was young, parents would always tell their kids to not hang out with Peep because he was different with dressing and tattoos at 14 so he was kinda a loner as a kid, that's all I know really
ive listened to peep for abt 5yrs since before he was evn heard of or blew up a bit, and the gbc days, he just was in pain internally with himself if that makes any sense, he felt alone, and rejected most of his life and battled within himself daily, along with his addictions and depression and he was still only 21 he was a hurting soul but like many hve said he had this energy to lite up a room or face instantly and cared about his family, friends and fans more then himself most the time unfortuantly and that was also heavy on him
He didnt see his brother for a long time bro he doesnt know shit about peep.. I think the main roots of pain is that the fame, money and drugs no longer give you pleasure but the pain is still here and multiply.
Fame and regret I think played a big part in his depression. Peep knew his problems all along (proof from his countless songs describing his current state of sadness), however, the success his music was having couldn’t break the struggle of his happiness and drugs where the only escape. RIP to the legend. We’ll never forget you.

Depression is ultimately chemical imbalances in the brain so it doesn't need an obvious reason, but it can be triggered by outward things. According to many, peep was a very sensitive person who got easily hurt by people. Peep also said that some fucked up things happened in his childhood that messed with him a lot, though he never clarified what that was, and that could def have been a trigger. Anyways I hope he is at rest now, or living a happy life somewhere else...
Depression is something that you cant explain when your feeling it so you resort to drugs to numb the suffering. People who aren’t experiencing this first hard won’t understand...

At this point in his addiction he is taking so much to avoid the intense pain of withdrawal. I've been there and it's overwhelming to try to stop and just easier to keep getting high. But that doesn't end well. It took me over a year to recover from opiates and xans and the shit was so hard to drop. Just my thoughts having been as messed up as peep was in this vid for years!
It's weird to read that someone quit xans because people treat it so casually. Glad you thought differently and got off them.
The real problem starts when you try to quit xans. It's a much longer, harder mindfuck than opiates. People generally think that their anxiety is just worse when they stop and then they go back on. But there's a rebound effect with xans, anxiety is a 2 and then when you quit it comes back as a 10. So most are on for life. It'll come out as a worse epidemic than opiates as time goes on.
That's what one of my friends tells me, but he only dabbles in the regular stuff. A lot of people seem to think otherwise. It's fucked but again congrats on doing it bro.

Yea you could just be sad for no fucking reason. But my outlook is once you get famous and have an abundance of money you start partying a lot and then you get addicted to the drugs and then rely on them for happiness. Cuz before I got into drugs I was super happy but then I started partying and I got into them and it ruined my happiness cuz all the chemical Imbalances that come with taking these things. But I got off of them and I’m happy sober again. Takes time to fix your body up from taking shit

Ik his dad not being there really took a toll on him and him not being able to say no when people offered him drugs or ask for money because he cared to much about how they might feel. Theres alot of different things that probably contributed to his mental state. Man I miss him, i wonder what he is doing now

I have heard his brother said he did it as an act to give him a different look pretty much or in a better understanding he faked himself being sad. And people say he clearly didn't know peep. If that's true or not at the end of the day I feel at least some point down his career his depression was real. And I'm not saying it never was. Because I'll stay believing it was and he still reached out to many people

He was happy because of all the drugs, think about it, he fucking loved weed, xan, perc, blow it was just how he was, thats why he "lit the room up" he was happy. Did you see what his brother said? A lot of people miss intrepid his music, in real life he was a genuinely a happy person.

I don't think he was that depressed he just fell down the rabbit hole. He was prolly just getting high for fun when he was younger and the shit just caught up with him. U can't just stop taking xans after a while they grip your soul even if u weren't even trying to escape just have fun all the sudden it catches up with u and u need it to feel well

Trevor Brubaker drugs probably worsened his depression, but he was already diagnosed with anxiety in his teens....it probably wasn’t being properly managed, hence popping oxys and fake xans
