Just getting back into Grim Dawn. I really appreciate you taking the time to walk through and explain things about the game that may not be so obvious.
hey boss, ive noticed in some of your video's that your UI displays gear with color coded sections for like suffix / prefix etc. What mod do you use to see that, or if not a mod, how do you enable that function? Thanks
I've never played hard-core before was thinking of giving it a go for the achievements 1 is this a good build to try that and 2 are normal and hard-core stashes shared just wanna know before I get myself into this
This is a good choice for a first hardcore character, sure. I'd probably say Forcewave Deathknight or Primal Strike Elementalist would be slightly better, but this will be perfectly fine. HC and SC have separate stashes.
Vitality Ritualist is great for HC, a lot of health and a lot of leech. Also not that much of a piano build, RE alone shreds trash like crazy, then just apply Swarm and drop Totem for heroes and bosses. You'll probably end up using Bone Harvest on top but its not that big of a priority.
This is a good starting option. I'd also recommend the Deathknight or Elementalist builds I have on the channel. All are solid builds for a first character. If you want to do pets, there's Cabalist for skeletons, or Ritualist for skeletons with a focus on the bigger pets at 100, or Conjurer which I haven't played on the channel yet. I'm not a fan, but some people love it. It's a play style thing for me, nothing wrong with the build.
They're on the channel and have playlists, but here's the links regardless: - Elementalist: ruclips.net/video/WMj3wK8XXM8/видео.html - Deathknight: ruclips.net/video/BSnxZ6bys90/видео.html
@@Paikis Im playing the death knight one but my resistances arent the best at all but im still enjoying my time, i just dont know where to really farm gear or what gear to farm since im only level 30, and I just feel so lost in the world at the moment
Is it necessary to follow your path? I just started playing and i tend to try to go on an adventure and grind, in your videos your still 15 but im already 18 or more. Will level affect enemies difficulty?
Just getting into grim gonna be watching lots of your videos

yeah i'm playing a HC death knight atm but i like to put these runs on my phone propped up next to my monitor while i play, haha
@@jowilson5581 nice!
Despite how not-great they are, I think we'd all like to see you attempt leveling as a hybrid pet build some day :P
Whoooo!

It's a mod called Rainbow Filter. You can get it from the official crate forums.
@@Paikis Thanks boss, i appreciate it.

I only just got the game and I’m unsure on what build or class I want

@ do you have the link for the death knight one so I can check it out or are they within the playlist on your channel?

I take the jackal constellation first on every build I play......the slow early game player speed annoys the hell out of me.
That's fair. I generally do when I'm not recording. There's a lot of things I skip when I'm not recording.
What is hardcore only item you mention at the beginning?
IIRC it's for beating Ultimate with a classless HC char. i.e. not something most people are going to ever see
It's this. Badge of Perseverance.
Ever used DPYes? / Build in dps meter ?
Not really. I go by feel. Meters always end up with toxicity.

Not at all, have a look around, explore. Everything will scale with your level, so you'll be fine.
wtf i missed another poll, i would have voted for a saboteur playthrough, damn man i miss the poll every time
I dont think anyone would think less of you if you played on normal softcore...
I'd get bored, though. There's nothing wrong with normal. It's just not for me.
