Surprised Mauretania didn’t make it into this video, she was Cunard’s pride for so many years as the fastest ship in the world for two decades.

She was an old ship built in 1906 she was scrapped in 1935 because she was in too bad of a condition and there was an economic depression

An award should go to the RMS Carpathia. Rescuing the survivors of the Titanic sinking and serving valiantly in World War I are amazing contributions.
Margaret brown did give them a silver cup but idk if it was for rescuing titanic's passengers
The ship and the crew were all given awards and the captain was knighted by the queen of England
She was sunk in WW1 by a U-boat she was one of 20 ships lost in service

Yeah, the segment at 1:00 was saddening to watch. I sympathize about the losses of some of your ships - the Lustania, Carpathia, and Andania during WWI, and even the Laconia during WWII. If their spirits could talk, I'm sure they could tell you how proud they are that you kept going and that you're turning 175 this year.

@HMS King George V You're right about that, but some of their fleet are just rebranded carnival vessels.
My Great-Grandfather was a one of the Shipwrights at John Browns who worked on building the Queen Mary.

+Henry Morgan In 1934 Cunard and White Star merged their fleets to form a new company, Cunard-White Star Ltd. Both original companies remained separate behind the scenes, owning shares in the new company. After the Second World War, Cunard (being the bigger shareholder) bought out White Star's shares and then eventually absorbed them and the company just went back to calling itself Cunard. In the following ten years, all traces of White Star's presence just disappeared.

yes, the RMS Carpathia was a Cunard liner. She saved the 712 survivors of the RMS Titanic disaster, and was torpedoed in WW1

Impossible, Cunard already said that they wouldn’t make another ship bearing the title “RMS” the trans Atlantic service has become a thing of the past, and no ship would be given a contract by the Royal Mail.
