Of all of the female hikers I have been following this year on the PCT, you're the only one still on trail! Congrats to you for being half way and thank you for taking us along!
Your vlogs continue to be inspirational and motivational . Love the energy you give off and respect your drive , determination , and how serious you take the PCT 2022 mission . Continued props to the editing and choice of music !! Congratulations on a huge milestone passing the mid-point !!
Congratulations on the first half! I consider myself lucky to have experienced the PCT with relatively few burn scars. I hope this years fires don't cause you too many logistical problems .
Wahoo! Halfway there! It would have been fun to have a before and after shot of your hand to really show the difference. Also… you made my day when you mentioned getting water for your friend. That’s what life is all about, looking out for each other without having to be asked! I don’t remember seeing any details on your GoPro settings. I know your hubby is editing everything together, but great videos start with great footage. Do you have them posted anywhere? Thank you for sharing your journey. It has been a real blessing!
Dude, no…don’t ever think you’ll hear wildlife around just because the ground is dry or even if there’s dry leaves. I was in tall grass in a field once with my tripod set up and my camera pointing at a cherry tree waiting on the bears to show up for the day when I felt something brush by my back. Yep…it was a yearling that sniffed my back and hair before he walked around me and over to the tree. I never heard a single noise and I was being as quiet as a church mouse. So it’s not like he snuck up behind me and I didn’t hear him because of my own noise. The only noise actually were birds and a slight breeze.
Is that the black mark when we went swimming? It was ash! We were covered in it for this stretch from all the burn. I didn’t see it until I watched the video later 😂
First and foremost: Congratulations on finishing the midpoint. Such an awesome accomplishment. So happy for you and your crew. Secondly: Whenever I comment I usually close with best wishes for your safety. This video was uploaded on 22 August (Japan time), and you haven't mentioned fire closures yet. I trust that you and your crew have remained safe as you have navigated the stateline closures and further fire hazards in Oregon/Washington. Above all else, please stay safe! Thank you for taking us along!
7;500 ft climb and you still have a big “ beaming smile “ on your face . You are such an inspiration .

Can you post your music play list? Lovin the music... and your hike!
Hey! The track list in the description.
I’d be in bed at 6:30 if I did a nearly 30 mile day…you’re so lovely Arielle, extremely genuine and always the optimist. 💜
:)

It looked like a black hole in her face, I was very alarmed especially when it didn't come off as soon as she jumped in the water haha
How is the gluten free adventure going? I saw you were sending food ahead. How has that changed, if at all?
