- I worked obscenely long on this because I added, took away, and changed SO much for so long. This was originally gonna be a Kaito Solo, but the song, if sang in a more full voice compared to the vibe of the original, just sounds sm better with another voice lol. So it became a duet! With a little Rin for the harmony because the chorus sounded super off for so long, and I realized Len’s vocals were just too harsh for a harmony and Rin sounded so much better there lol. Also learned how to edit together my first full scale MV lmaoo. Anyway this is my magnum opus rn, enjoy!

honest review:
this is fucking fantastic.
i feel like this tuning really encapsulates their niigo personalities, with lens sounding quieter, shakier and more nervous and kaito sounding more monotone and blunt, it does actually feel like their nightcord variants and not just their base versions. this. this is amazing.
also your art is absolutely adorable i love it .art eaten and ran over 10/10
Thank you so much !! I spent a bit of time screwing with their voices to get that perfect feel because I wanted them to sound (especially Len) emotional and soft - but still powerful. So I had to mix voicebanks and lean on the softer side for Len’s voicebank - and have a more even 50/50 between reg and soft Kaito! It’s awesome their personalities shine through bc that was indeed the goal! My niigo-covered songs for Len are much softer than their counterparts 🤭, as does the art portray his personality/tends to have him meeker or softer.
And thank you!! I love drawing them they’re so silly (poor scared Len with a tear in his eye 😭 figured it encapsulated the lyrics/vibe of the song)

The cover sound SO good! I love the tuning, something about it makes me think it's excelent for the song. And Rin's harmonies help the song sm, great detail!

Thank you SO much! I was hella picky with this song and how I wanted them to sound - soft but not off - which is why I ended up merging their softer and strong voicebanks (because I wanted Len to be soft but his other voicebanks enunciate differently!). And yes, Rin! No kidding when I say I tested every voicebank I had for harmonies to figure which one made the song sound best when I realized the issue was having Len do them 😭. I’m very happy to hear it paid off!

THIS IS SO SWEET TO HEAR AAA! Kaito is def who I’d lovingly call my problem child - he can be a little difficult to tune at first and find a song that fits him, but when he’s right, he can sound so good! I’m picky about how he’s tuned, personally, so I try to tune him in a way I like haha!

Because Vocaloid appearances are adaptable to fit your song/interpretation and I simply prefer to draw Kaito with dark skin, as there aren’t many vocaloids with darker skintones!

Because Vocaloids can be fit to however you interpret them and considering most Vocaloids have pale skin I see no issue in my Kaito headcanon being black ^^

@@-touhoufan You can change gender, age, appearance, anything. Look at how many Miku songs there are with different styles and outfits for Miku. Vocaloids have a base mascot but are ultimately musical instruments, they are voice banks. They can be completely customized to fit your interpretation/song/needs!
