Congratz Don! Welcome back to the Rmax fold. I absolutely love the color combo on the sport. Now comes the best and worst part, accessorizing. Hate spending the money on them but love when you get em and put them on.
I him'd and hawd' really hard at the R-max before i settled on the X3 last year. I'll always be a Yamaha guy, but i've got attached to the performance and suspension of a Turbo sport machine. and even though i find the seating position still low in the X3, i've grown to love it even on long rides. Congrats on the new ride, Don.
Don, I wish you would have asked Bill or myself as we were at the 2025 RMAX release and the Sport DOES get the updated suspension, brake calipers, turf mode, improved front diff, improved EPS......all the standard component updates. I mean I can't blame you for taking advantage of a 2024 discount, but the suspension updates and front diff beefiness cannot be ignored.
@MassiveOverkill well that's good to know but I had no issues with my 22 Rmax but I am curious about difference in the suspension though because I always considered the ride on my 22 as plush . And ya we weren't sure if they switch the Sport shocks aswell or not . Thanks for the info though !
@@DonsATVAdventures with the new revalving and spring rates, the ride is much more plush and handles better to boot. The new sway bars allow for more front end articulation as well. No problem!
Good choice. I don't know why it took Yamaha so long to put a turf mode in their side by sides! Why only the RMAXS? The Wolverines should have it also. A dual purpose machine should not be tearing up your lawn when doing work around your property. Also,a locked rear diff will cause you to fish tail when you don't want to,like on a sideways sloped trail.
Hate to see the YXZ go Don but have grown to like and enjoy your rides so ill stick around. Definitely didn't see this coming though must have been a steal
Congratulations Don. Looking forward to seeing you put on all the extras. Just wondering why did you get rid of the YXZ ? Happy for you brother. GodBless
Congratulations 🎉 I just bought my first SxS in October (2024 RMAX2 R-spec) I been a dirt biker since 1970 and was hesitant about riding/driving a SxS. It took one ride in my buddies and I was hooked. Sold my dirt bike and the quad I used on,y to plow my driveway and bought the SxS. I have only been out 5 times and have under 15 hours on the SxS but I am loving every minute of it.

Bandit Springs were great for my 24 Rmax sport, and the tires that are on it are incredible. Try em before you swap em.
Congrats Don🎉🎉.

@tomheale5523 lol well in all honesty he did tell me I could store it on display for the winter but then I decided to sell it
@DonsATVAdventures I did say everything is forsale for the right price.
@tomheale5523 very true...lol

@townsendYXZ , its not that i didn't like my yxz because it's a great machine but I prefer the seating position of the rmax alot better
@@DonsATVAdventuresWhat do you like best about the seating position? For me, the pedal box seems smaller on the RMAX.
Those rear tender springs are wound up pretty tight

BF GOODRICH KM3 TIRES
I can’t get past the incredible heat and noise these rmax’s put out good working machines but way too noisy and hot.
Yeah that YXZ was a poor choice for your riding style
Those RMax are one sweet ride for sure
@billyzgoneape like I said the yxz actually surprised me . It is a great trail machine but I mainly prefer the seating position of the Rmax better .
