Kudos to this man for trying something new and running his company the way he wants to run it! But this report fails to tell the entire story. First, its not a publicly traded company (ie no financial responsibility/liability to stockholders). Second, his employees are all college graduates....not the average McDonald's employee. Third, location, location, location....Seattle is expensive and Mr. Price is compensating for cost of living. Moreover, Seattle's economy will increase opportunity for a company to make more money to trickle down to employees. Finally, there is no mention of benefits (like paying more for individual coverage vs company covered plans for healthcare), overtime, hrs, etc. Like I said, Mr. Price sounds like a creative and fun CEO but there are factors, that these reporters didn't mention, that allow for Gravity Payments chosen business path. Will look forward to following Gravity Payments successful future.
