Old frontier inspired knife with copper layers

- Hello everyone!
This time I bring a more rustic knife, inspired by the Old Frontier style.
I made it at the request of a Brazilian friend who lives in Canada, so I thought "indigenous features" would go well.
I've been wanting to use copper in the forging of a knife, and this metal fits perfectly with the chosen style.
The blade had several layers and textures, brute forge, damascus, copper and carbon, yet making a smooth transition between them.
For the handle I used aged wood, goatskin, brass pins and strings, aiming for a more rustic and artisanal look.
Personally, I'm a big fan of this style, so I really liked it. I hope you like it too!

2 things: Can the scale from the press be reused? Do you throw away the scrap Damascus from cutting the billet?
These scales are basically iron oxide and borax residues, so I don't believe they have any application other than recycling.
I am saving the ends of the damascus bars to reuse or recycle.
Come on Bro! What did I tell you about me needing therapy because of your channel!!! My man never lets his RUclips people down, now all I need is a knife to stop the obsession! Stay well brother and keep turning out masterpieces. Your boy from New York! Peace
Thank you very much, friend!

If you want, it will be a pleasure to make a piece for you, just let me know! Let's do this so we don't need therapy...😉

Thank you friend!😁
I didn't really like this style either until I made knives like this, but now I have an appreciation for it. There's a fine line between rustic things and poorly made things, I try to pay attention to that so I don't make mistakes.

Does no one forge architectures into a blade anymore?
Coincidentally, I already did it myself. Four projects based on Oscar Niemeyer and Gaudí.
My wife is an architect, so I'm very interested in the topic.
If you want to see, call me on Instagram "Harpia Knives" or WhatsApp 55 51 998966784 and I'll show you the photos!
When drilling out the handles what kind of glue was that?
It's super glue too. A little drop.
