He was originally slated to be part of Operation Downfall, but when the bombs were dropped, he was shipped out to be part of the occupation forces. He was stationed in Japan when Korea popped, and off to combat he went. The stories he would tell would make your blood run cold. His name was Harry Hedberg. I know it's been explained before, however, I still, wish, that, Time Ghost Army would push this series, back til next year. (At least, til when the Korean War Anniversary Date is on the 75th year, as opposed to the 74th year.)
There is still so much to cover on World War II. Especially, with some episodes, where military files were declassified, so a revisit, would be in order?
I know, I am not the only viewer, who struggles, to catch all of Time Ghost's wonderful content. Just for us, who work two jobs, and our time is super limited. I, especially, have a strong stake in these vids, having two uncles (brothers), who, one served in WW II (Infantry European Theater), and another uncle (Korean War, Infantry). Both served on the very start of each conflicts. Have a Great Day Time Ghost Army & staff.

My wife's dad served in the Army, which included a stint aiding a British artillery brigade on frozen hilltops, which definitely influenced his decision to be mustered out in California when the war ended! Years later I was working in an ad agency and I had a young Korean girl working for me as a graphic designer. She never let me forget how grateful the South Korean people were to this day that the U.S. led a coalition to prevent the North from over-running their country.
