I discoverd alot of new ways.. but my honest opinion.
- there are agency providing work according to your time and day.. basically it's super flexible but you don't get the slot easily.. as soon as it is posted it just gets booked and boom!
- for most of the brands they say you can apply online but I applied in more than like 70 online part jobs through main websites, indeed, linkedin and whatever you say.
From same, I got reply from merely 5 I must say and from that 2 called me for 2nd round and hopefully waiting for the answer.
- jobs inside university. They don't provide it for fully 20 hours, may be 10hours or so and pay scale varies according to place and job you get in but highly competitive.
Most of students I met are here for PR and they focus less on studies.. but my goal is to focus more on studies as compared to jobs and yeah I am even applying for unpaid internships in my field which can make my portfolio strong
So hopefully this can get you to clear idea. How things are!
And yes, student mostly go in Indian restaurant to work and honestly worst option to work with. Idk why but here, indians being nice to indian student is rare case. If you find it you are lucky!

Okay so I’ve been wanting to study in London for quite some time now. I graduated last year and with the timing and everything else, London didn’t seem possible at the time and I just had to let it go. Cut to now, I couldn’t just let it go lol. So, I’ve been looking at colleges and courses again in the hope of that dream coming true some day. I was just looking at courses at Westminster Uni and came to youtube to look for experiences of other international students. This is the first video that I decided to click on. At 3:59 there’s this clip of the street and you can see the bus with Marylebone 453 andddddd weirdly that’s my phone background. With everyone talking about manifestation on the internet these past couple of years, I put up this random picture from pinterest as my background 2 years ago because for some reason I found it real and beautiful. And now just looking at this clip in your video feels like a sign. It could also be just me being delusional 🤣 Delulu is the solulu, right ? 🤣🤣

Hi! I cannot comment on which university is better. Instead I would suggest you to take detail look on what the course is delivering in each university.
I have noticed that even though the course is same but the modules are different in each universities. So make sure you check that and decide if you want to procced with the same or not?

Thanks, I only use my Sony Zv1 camera to shoot most of my content and edit the same on paid video editing software. No I don't use any filters or anything. All these are naturally captured.

hey, I just came across your videos and believe me I am continuously watching one after the other... actually I am planning to go to London next year for my masters and I have shortlisted a few unis one of them is Westminster and I just wanted to know what is the IELTS band score that's required to get into this uni... it would be really helpful if u helped me out a bit

I think the requirement should be 6.5 overall... but sometimes it also depends on the course.. for Arts, the bands requirement is high, so you need to check on the requirements on your course from the westminster website..

Hey, I applied for student accommodation today for Marylebone and i think due to some technical glitch i was not able to log in the housing portal but later on it worked but i was able to choose only twin en suite rooms in Marylebone , So i wanted to ask does university provides only twin ensuites to undergrad 1st year students or it was just my luck!
And more thing if you can help i wanted to know by any chance does the university accommodation changes the room if we face any problem and we are ready to pay more fees for the same?

I have not known about more rules of university accommodation as I didn't opt for that.
But Student Hub at the University of Westminster is always on.. You can do the Live Chat with then and they help you with all the queries related to the university.

You need to check that on the university website. Most of the full time course are for 1 year with 3 semester and if you want to pursue part-time then it's for 2 years.

Hey! Depends on your priorities. For media school, I would say it's the best. They have everything that students need to pursue their career.
Apart from studies, they have a lot of opportunities to explore, so I think I have made the best decision by choosing this uni.

Hi! Every course has a different timetable. Once you receive your visa, you will be getting your timetable from the uni upon partially enrolling yourself online through the portal.

Part time at university is based on the project. Some project runs for 1 week, some for months. Hence, it all depends on the internship specification. You have to go through that before applying to any.

Helloo please can someone tell me how to apply for CAS at yhe university of London
Hi @Mimidoo_k once you have paid your deposits, you need to show funds of whole tuition fees and living cost for the academic year about 28 days consecutively to the university.
You then need to send the bank letter as a proof of funds to uni and the uni will generate the CAS Letter for you..

For me I booked it before coming here through relatives or so like for a month or for a few month. Then I made friends and shifted to a new place. I am not in student accomodation. But if you can afford and you are getting that then go ahead with it coz living in PG is tough until you match time table with others living with you.

Hi meera which location is cheaper to stay to attend university of Westminster
Wembley and Harrow are mostly preferred by students.
Exact tube stations that falls under as Harrow on the Hill, Northwick Park and Wembley Park.
From here you can travel easily from Harrow campus to central london campuses.
We sometimes do have classes at different campuses but depends on the course you choose.
These are the area which have comparatively less rent and its student hub for accommodation especially for Asians.

I want to ask regarding railway pass, what is the monthly pass cost at london ? You can tell me any station pass whatever you know
There is a pass called "travel card" which you can let you choose the zones in which you need to travel and the amount.

For students who don't travel very frequently to route, we do recharge our oyester card with on the go payment. And also we got the "rail card" from trainline. This card works on all the national rails and tube. This card is then linked to the oyester card. So, instead of paying full amount, we get discount of 1/3 of total price. No matter whatever tickets we book around the UK or travel in tube within London.

I live in Harrow!
The rent is pretty affordable here as compared to central london.
You can travel to harrow campus or else central london campuses by bus or train.
I would recommend you to check on the Facebook groups such as "Indians in Harrow" or "Indians in Wembley" you might get there pg rooms availability as people post over there.
One more thing, check out the spareroom.com
I feel the price there and everything else is best for PG.
Other options such as university accomodation and student private accomodations are not as affordable as PG.
If possible do start finding it while you are in India. It's difficult to find room for boys in Harrow and Wembley. Like you then would just have to adjust in sharing if done on urgency.

Okay talking about uni.
You need to pay £4000 for confirmation of your admission in the uni.
And remaining tuition fees+ term accomodation cost(listed in the uk gov website) can be shown as funds of 28 days in bank or else if you have loan you can directly apply for CAS letter.
In my case, I paid more than half fees beforehand so yeah depends how you are paying fees. But uni is providing the installments. You can choose yours.
All these happens after you receive your CAS letter from uni and applied for visa.

Hey how are the placements? I’ve gotten an offer for law school is it good ?
University of Westminster doesn't provide in campus placements, rather they have a body that helps with resume and prepare you for getting placed outside campus through your capability.
I am unaware of Law school as there are so many departments and all of them are on different campuses.

I had 2 classes days a week. But it really depends on the course you choose and the modules you elect. Some of my friends had 3 days a week.
I am sharing my experiences on thsi platform so showcasing clgs and unis of london would be off topic from my goal. But, I will try if incase I find some interesting content that covers this topic as well as goes well with my goal. I will create content.

I paid £4000 to confirm and get CAS letter. Also considered as a deposit, which is then deducted from the total tuition fees.

Overall, For studies..... UK can be considered as the best. But for jobs and placement it seems kinda hard... I cannot say anything yet I am still exploring the job situation in UK.

University has various scholarships listed on it's website. There may be 100% or partial scholarships... Honestly I paid full amount so don't know much about that.

There are lots of jobs available. Did you go to the university late? Usually after the intro week, students fill the part time jobs and that's why you need to go there early. And 40mins of travel for university is not efficient. Don't go abroad if you cant afford the living expenses
I got 2 jobs in the University itself. I am Media and Community Enagagement officer and also I am Research Intern even though I arrived late after intro week. And in big cities like London, people do travel even more than 2 hours for job or for studies and in that case, 40 minutes is nothing. Last but not the least, I haven't asked for advise on what I had to do and what not to do when it comes to affordability.
