    As far as I know, your analysis is spot on. My son completed his MSc in Logistics from a very good university in Aug-22. He could get a well paid job in a start up as he has experience of three years in India. His role is more of operations, sales and strategy. The employer doesn't have a sponsorship license so he is on PSW. All his classmates are still doing par-time or survival jobs.
    He and his friends have been selected for few other jobs in big corporate but could not get the offer letter due to their visa status.
    As a father, I was against taking up supply chain course but my son was adamant and he took up course in a uni which has Operations as a sub subject with SCM and logistics. I didnt insist because he will not be taking any loan and hence he can recoup his fee in PSW time itself and he can find a decent job in India on his return..
    My conclusion is there are opening in SCM, but for people with experience and work visa.
    Freshers finds it difficult to find sponsored job in any field.
    Please stay away from Management courses unless you have experience and aptitude in that field.
    Please share first hand experience in finding a sponsored job.

    Completely agreed. As a current student, I can relate that this is the harsh reality that mam is telling in this video. She is just spreading awareness for students to choose the right career path which no one does. So it would be best if you researched first what makes you interested before selecting courses. Select your university and courses wisely and have some knowledge of that course before coming here because the university does not do spoon-feeding.

If your passion lies within a particular area and you really trust your potential in that field, you can work elsewhere , even your home country. Well in my case since i just graduated from my bachelor's in Business administration it's unlikely that i will get a job just after i graduate from MSc strategic marketing in the UK, so what am i doing differently now? well i postponed my plans to study abroad. next i am doing paid digital marketing certification courses from reputed universities and MNC's like google and Meta to gain some knowledge and insight about my field of interest. There are job opportunities for each and every one of these courses in the UK. It completely depends on the candidate. Its already a well established fact that most of the people are moving to UK to do masters just for the sake of doing it. And the process and strictness is less than that of USA which makes things easier for people with a lot of money just moving to a different country to just have a good time. It's because of such people that there is this situation now. But if you can hone your skills right and have good communication skills, you CAN get a high paying job in the UK. Learn to crack it. Be thorough in your subject and learn to put forward your strengths properly.

  • @messiisgoat007

    Freshers cant take MBA as you require to have min 3 years of work experience. The degree you are tlaking about is Freshers MBA provided by some low ranked B schools in the UK. The freshers MBA course shouldn't be confused with the traditional MBA course provided by the top B Scholls in the UK such as Warwick, LBS, Durham, Manchester, Cranfield, Imperial, London Business School, Oxford, Cambridge, etc. The traditional MBA course from the above mentioned B schools will require the students to have a min. of 3 years of professional experience along with GMAT scores, SOPs and recommendation letters. Sonif any student who has applied to the transitional MBA from any of the top 10-15 B Schools in UK, you can definitely take the course as it will help you to get the insights of the business world and lend you a high paying job !!

    According to me BA, MA and Phd in geography and BSc, MSc and Phd in biology or chemistry are the best courses in uk yeah it is tough but if you suceed and you get the degrees then your research in a lab will be as a job and you will be a professor or a teacher of geography in a college or a school after passing BA, MA or phd.

  • @messiisgoat007
    @messiisgoat007 5 месяцев назад

    First of all the top Business Schools such as Warwick, Durham, LBS, Imperial, Alliance Manchester, Cranfield, Oxford, Cambridge, etc will never accept students having experience less than 3 years for their MBA programme. So if you have recieved an admit from the top 10-15 B Schools for the MBA programme then don't think twice, just complete the course as the MBA degree from the top B schools in UK will lend you a very good job with a starting salary of around 40-50k GBP !! I would also like to mention that you have generalised MBA here whereas the course rhat tou sre talking about is freshers MBA..both are different. Freshers MBA is for those who have less than 3 years of experience whereas the more traditional MBA requires you to have min of 3 years of post study experience and if you are going for the later then you have a very high chnace of getting a high paying job !!

    My bachelors degree is not mentioned here but I would like to add Human Resource Management.. one of the worst useless degrees out there, everyone I've seen including big corporations their hiring managers and recruiters don't have a HR degree they still became one while me spending 50,000 GBP as an Indian in London, I couldn't find a job as a fresher because they only preferred someone with experience. Please DO NOT choose this degree unless you are already in the field and want to get it to get a promotion or something. Even then here in the UK everyone just gets a certification from CIPD level 3 or higher. And please DO NOT go to University of East London that's where I studied one of the low level universities in the UK
