I think the coupe looks way cooler than the sedan, but ultimately it's how you plan to use it. The rear seats in the coupe don't have a lot of space, so if you think you'll be driving people around a lot the sedan might be a better call. As far as power goes they both have the same engine, so there should be no noticeable difference.
The sedan 05 06 are actually slightly lighter a great response, but for looks the coupe is 🔥 but if you want to be different the sedan will still turn heads and be fast 💨
07+ g35 sedan has the hr engine in it which is wayyyyy better than the de or the rev up engine in the later models and it produces more hp, i have a 08 g35 sedan and it’s incredible man it really comes down to which your preference is
With the way it drives it’s basically always in sport mode, which I really like. It’s got good low end torque which is always fun to play around with. It does have a manual mode though which you can access by pushing the shifter to the right when in drive.
Honestly, as a recent owner of a 2013 G37x Sedan ( totaled in an Accident ) I can say from experience that aside from the more modern Navi/Audio interface on the G37 Series, and the awesome downshift feature of the Transmission in Sport Mode, I really feel that the G35 is a better car. Personally, I like the clean, pure body lines and simple old-school interior. The car just hugs you and "shrinks" around you more than the G37. The car just drives smaller, if you know what I mean. Both are great of course, ( and let's be honest, anything is better than a numb, boring Lexus or Volvo lol ) but those are my thoughts. Take care fellow " Infinityphiles! " :)
Thanks for your comment! That’s a cool perspective to have. I haven’t really driven a G37 apart from several years ago before I knew anything about cars, but I definitely see how I could become more attached to the G35. It’s old school but it can still pass as fairly new as far as design goes. I’ve had people shocked when I told them my car was a 2006. If they’re well taken care of they’ll hold up for a long time.
@@SethWard1114 Exactly man! And thank you for your thoughtful response! Aside from an E90-era 3 Series, NO other sport sedan will give you more road feel, chassis dynamics or steering feel. I've driven them all :)
agree with you but putting a double din with apple carplay/android auto in a G35 looks just as good, if not better than the G37 navi interface plus depending on what brand you get, works so much better than the stock G37 navi interface
I have a g35 coupe but i kinda like the g37 sedan more. It feels more luxurious and the stock suspension feels sooo smooth. You feel like your driving a feather.

He used to take me for rides in it all the time when I was 4 (this was in 2008, I'm 19 now) and I immediately fell in love with it. He eventually sold it around 2009 to some other guy in the area and it had like NO kilometers on it, like less than 20k! I'm a fairly new driver and I'm hoping to get one of these in a year or two when my 2000 Chrysler Neon finally gives out lol!! Is it possible you could make a video regarding ownership? Pros and cons, whether it's a good car for a new driver, etc.? Thanks a lot! Dayton C.
I would love to make a video like that, but I actually sold the car back in December! As a daily driver it is so much fun because it’s super torquey. The only thing I really disliked about it was the fact that my gas gauge was not at all accurate and did cause me to run out of gas one time. It’s a great car. Fun to drive, looks cool and modern even still, and super fun and easy to modify with a huge aftermarket. Oh and also it doesn’t always fill up very easily at gas pumps, I think due to the design of the gas tank.
I got a an 08 g35 sedan its a lot of fun to drive as well but sedans dont come with sport tune exhaust so it is a little boring without any exhaust mods
@@SethWard1114 How fast do you take curves in accordance to the speed limit? I do 20 over what the speed limit says for the next curve. I'm afraid to take it over that. I had a subie before a G and I would confidently take most curves, but with the G rwd I haven't really pushed it.

So it’s gonna be likely around a year, and I was actually planning on selling the g35 to my dad, but thanks man I’ll keep that in mind if you’re still interested by then.
Just a mild car enthusiast here...plus I was going slow around those corners which is why I had to turn the wheel a lot. I do appreciate the tip though.
I can hit 1.02g in mine. But mine is slammed with some camber. When people slow down to take a curve i power hard through it. And i still don't know the limits because the oem seat can't hold me in. I was running a 5.0 stang off the road, bullying him on the twisties, it was fun and funny
The car itself doesn't gain more power just by putting it in manual mode, but locking it in a lower gear means that the rpms will be higher, giving you more torque as soon as you put your foot down rather than waiting for the transmission to downshift to get you back up to speed. As far as when to shift, I just push it up when it gets near the red line.
The G35 coupe hits 160…..mph…though no matter how good the car is, speeding on twisting road in a residential area is a gamble just because you don’t know if something around the corner might be an issue.. Even on a pro track there is always a risk.
This video randomly popped up in my feed since I've been looking at G35's lately, but I absolutely LOVE Highland Valley Road! Possibly, but that's comfortable for me. The only reason I sit up on turns or when I'm parking is to see where the front of my car is, because I can't see the hood at all unless I'm actually sitting up looking at it.
I was driving my car hard last month and physically broke something with the accelerator and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Had to get it towed. Things are good now though I have a 2006 G35 coupe
I take my G35 hr sedan by sheridan rd IL since I'm close by there and it's always a blast. When its in DS mode and rev matches its so fun. Haha the auto is pretty much just an ordinary automatic, but it is pretty quick. If I was to drive the manual I probably wouldn’t want to start with this car as my first time driving a manual. I’d want something that has an easy clutch point probably.
@@SethWard1114 I learned on a janky mk2 gti haha, I drove a manual g35 and a 350z. Clutch wasnt amazing but I feel the linear power from the engine makes it easily predictable and overall not any more difficult than any other modern vehicle. @@SethWard1114 My girlfriend learned to drive my 6mt sedan in two hours. In the parking lot of a beach. You got it. Lol Now even her car is a 6mt and the only auto we will ever own is our old school Range Rover. Even then if I could find a mt in one I'd get it in a heartbeat.
This is basically like a residential street because it’s all houses to turn into. Plus it’s so tight there’s no way a cop could sit anywhere on it except for on a corner where I wouldn’t be going that fast anyway. I’m thankful for that because this road is fun to drive. Probably gonna hit it up one more time in this car before buying my Mustang GT!

I've got an M35 Nissan stagea, basically the same car but with a wagon body, super fun to drive with plenty of power and also nice and practical being a wagon
You know, I would love to do that because the sound of going 160mph is intriguing, but I also don't know where or how to do that without risking getting the worst possible ticket on the planet. I've gone 115 for a short burst but I wouldn't want to risk everything going that fast.

it’s crazy how much g35s i see on the market and what you said on the crv is absolutely true
I love g35s
They are pretty cool
How does 100mph+ feel in this car?
I’ve only gone max probably 115 but it feels very sturdy and controllable over 100
@@SethWard1114 Good to know. I've been in cars that feel very unstable at those speed's.
Lol this car can easily cruise at 100... It wants to go fast
Amazing G35 Japanese car and I drive an Acura
I wanna try the Auto so bad, it looks so fun lol lets switch for the day Ill let you drive the Manual version lol
Maybe a tad heavy but you get used to that kinda stuff easily
Man dude where are the cops around there is this located in America 😅
This is basically like a residential street because it’s all houses to turn into. Plus it’s so tight there’s no way a cop could sit anywhere on it except for on a corner where I wouldn’t be going that fast anyway. I’m thankful for that because this road is fun to drive. Probably gonna hit it up one more time in this car before buying my Mustang GT!
Mines rlly loud whenever I go over bumps
Can you make a video of how to shift and when knowing to shift pls !
the automatic 😪
Not everyone can drive stick 😪
How many miles you got on your G35?
It’s sitting at 93,000 right now
SethWard1114 how long do you think it will last?
@@juanposada3530 Not sure, but when I was looking for ones to buy I found some that were well over 100k miles. I’m only keeping mine for another year or so while I save up for a Mustang GT.
When you’re down shifting are you letting go of the gas pedal?
Yeah
@@SethWard1114 it’s automatic bro you don’t have to :) you can keep on the gas
@@vSmitezzdN Well typically when I’m downshifting I’m slowing down before getting ready to speed up again, so therefore I do let off the gas.
@@SethWard1114 oh right that makes sense, looks like a fun time man i thought you meant when you were accelerating you were letting go and getting back on it,. good video :)
I enjoy mine
Sounds like a gta car
I've got an M35 Nissan stagea, basically the same car but with a wagon body, super fun to drive with plenty of power and also nice and practical being a wagon
2003 g35 sedan😎
i really want one of these for a first car🙏🏾
have you use regular 87 octane
No, I've only ever put premium 91 in it
Hey man did you seal the spec d headlights with epoxy or all weather sealant? Also have you had any issues with them since?
Nah, I just used the new gaskets that came with the spec-d lights and I have had no problems with them since the install.
Should’ve been a 6mt
good vid man, I also have a g and am wondering what go pro do you have and what clip is it? I wanna do videos like this.
Thanks dude! I have the HERO 7 Black and the Sametop backpack clip mount for my gopro. I think it was like $10 on Amazon.
Nice but I don’t recommend it.
It's not ugly, iy's not beautiful, but it's cool
Are you talking about the car or the road? Either way I sorta agree with you
@@SethWard1114 The car 😂
What are those headlights mods called?
They are the Spec-D Tuning Headlights for G35. I actually have a video on installing them if you’re interested.
Ahh yes my people
My boy sliding ! It’s a g thang I guess
It’s a bald tire thing actually
How many miles bro ?
I bought the car at 82k and I am currently at 101k!
I’d love to see you max out your finiti from POV angle
You know, I would love to do that because the sound of going 160mph is intriguing, but I also don't know where or how to do that without risking getting the worst possible ticket on the planet. I've gone 115 for a short burst but I wouldn't want to risk everything going that fast.
@@SethWard1114 Absolutely man! Safety first!!
i knew some g35 didn’t come with sunroofs
Yep. This is a base model I believe. Only the premium models get the sunroof.
bruh it’s a automatic😐
So
This is really nice, I’m rlly late but a question is, is this car an Automatic or manual?
It’s an automatic but it has a manual shifting mode
@@SethWard1114 thanks
@@SethWard1114 also, what year is it cause, I want an automatic one of these, and I need to know the year and if it’s like a g35 s or something.
@@pixelcodm5319 Mine is a regular base model 2006 G35 coupe
Is that a automatic 😐
Yessir. Sorry to disappoint
What’s ur Instagram?
Same as my youtube! And it’s linked on my channel
Sick G, I’d but a v36 steering wheel on it, really makes it look great
Automatic???!?
Yep
