2:56 I appreciate that you are making an actual play through instead of just rushing through all the new features which allows me to see what someone else play looks like without spoiling my own discovery of the game witch makes these the only stardew videos Im watching at the moment.. so thanks for the content 😊
Sure thing! I figure there's a lot of edited "how to" stuff out there and I don't really feel like I can add much to that - so I just do long form videos and then laugh at myself when I mess up instead! Priceless!
Glad you enjoy it and thanks for watching! I'm sure at some point my less chill side will break forth... like people in a musical breaking into song. It will be there and gone again lol
I've been comparing how the map looks in 1.6 to 1.5 whilst playing and it's cool noticing the details and changes. For example the addition of a waterfall and river to the right of the adventurer's guild at 13:28 which now has a bridge leading to the quarry to the south. Same goes for the various pathways and scenes across the town, there are subtle differences compared with before. I love stuff like that, comparing newer versions to older versions I think it's so cool!
I did not look at it that closely but those changes do all sound like they make sense. You want the map to look like the in game areas after all! I wonder if, on bookseller days, the map changes where the balloon lands? Hmm...
I hope you're staying warm! Thank you for another video. Been enjoying them. I know you probably have already made a choice but personally I choose the fishing rod. I usually have an extra chest with me while I fish or just catch ocean fish to sell directly to Willy for a day to earn the money back from buying the rod. It usually pays for it self right away. To help with pesky mining stuff I have a chest there to help with the inventory after 5 floors. Plus I keep my sword and any extra weapons/ footwear there to either sell back to the guild and to keep extra space open in the farm chests until I can get a set of furniture drawers. Thank you for all of your hard work! Have a wonderful day!
The fact chests no longer get destroyed by NPCs walking on them is huge for people who use them around town a lot! I always get the first fishing rod and the backpack very close together. Then I usually get the pickaxe upgraded but I'm really wondering about the watering can instead. Hmm...
There's something hilariously gross about bludgeoning slimes and crabs with a club that you just can't replicate with a sword! 😂 I feel like I've just been listening to my toddler cousin's booger jokes 😆
yes@ This is peaceful escapism. I look forward each day at some time, to watch your completed video. I appreciate the time you take to do this venture.
Good morning! Awesome video as always, Hill! Even though you're playing with only 50% income you're making money at a good pace, keep it up! Also, can you imagine how you would have felt if the traveling cart had apples? That would have been quite the joke. ;p
Haha well to be fair I just schedule them to release at a specific time. Usually it's later in the day (for me) but for this series I figured I'd just set them to go live at midnight (Central USA time)
It also saves the end of the previous series and the new series going live at the same time. So that works good I think too. Glad you can watch before work! @@jennisparx304
A few new things i saw were added that you can right click on an item on your inventory to temporarily throw it out. No need to press E and open the whole thing anymore. Also check the gift box in Marlon's shop. At the back. 😁
honestly, i miss the snow from up there! there have been multiple instances in the last few weeks where i was talking to my sister and she told me about the surprise snow storms that y'all got up there.
It was needed too we really didn't get much rain OR snow this winter. Nothing compares to when we lived on the Eastern shores of Lake Michigan years ago though and had all the lake effect snow! After that nowhere really gets anything like what I feel that snow should be haha. When you are used to knee to waist deep snow most of the winter and you go like ankle deep you are just thinking "Meh this is nothing". I suppose partly all in what you are used to!
honestly, moving from michigan to virginia is the craziest weather switch up i've ever encountered. it was 70 out last week! don't even get me started on the way people drive when it rains or snows! LOL
We had a mini-flood in the basement last year. The ground was frozen and during the thaw a bunch of water was going past the house and coming in down one of the lines from outside. We got that sealed up better now so it's fixed but that was pretty crazy. The water was pouring in and raining down past the fuse box/breaker box for the house. Could have been... not good.@@myghostyttv
I never understood who the people harrasing Linus that he tells you about could be, like- It couldn't be any of the towns people cause who in town would pull stunts like that, and it wouldn't be anyone from Joja mart cause the only people from there are Morris and the employees that he works to exhaustion, so no one there is gonna be wasting their time messing with Linus for the hell of it. And so that just leaves some unseen jerks from some other town Linus must've been staying at before Stardew Valley, which that just leaves you to imagine some whack jobs coming all the way from a whole other town most likely at the dead of night just to harrass Linus for being a hardcore campcore guy I guess, it's baffling >:( (Idk if helping Linus with that stuff is a part of his like friendship events since I never got very high friendship with him before, but I'd be looking forward to it if that was the case, no spoilers.)
I've wondered about that too but maybe Seb and Sam just get bored sometimes I dunno. Sam seems to be a bit of a prankster so it's possible I guess? But I have no real culprit in mind.
Jas and Vincent never go up that way in game, but they could out of context which leads to them not knowing that's Linus's tent. Sam and Sebastion pulling pranks are in line with their friendship if you look at the Egg festival dialogue. The joja members could pick on Linus to take out their frustrations of their working conditions since his tent is an easy target, and beyond that anybody could come from another town to do it. I'd go so far as to say even Demeterius or Lewis could do it. Demi due to the way linus lives right by his house and Lewis due to Linus likely not paying for anything. Pam being a drunkard meandering up there messing with his tent is possible too.
Yeah Maxwell House International Cafe French Vanilla. It's like... hot chocolate but french vanilla coffee flavored. Coffee powder basically? It's tasty though just... I can't call it "coffee" with a straight face.

New Series are always exciting aren't they? Just something about it - the possibilities you know?

If that cart had apples... I'd just have laughed about it. Like an annoyed laugh mind you but still.
OK I should back & watch this again ... Anyway thanks a lot for a series !!!
You are most welcome! Thanks for watching!
Good morning hill, I haven't slept all night so you uploading a new video at 6 in the morning (well 6 for me at least) is absolutely perfect😂

Hi hill another great video we also are getting snow in live in maine and ours wont stop until Sunday morning.
That is a lot of snow. After the 6 or 7 inches of snow we got we are on track to receive just over an inch of rain early this week!
@@HillHomeGaming same here on the rain so all that snow will be gone but that means we will have too worry about flooding

You need to go down by the hat mouse on the 17th of spring to see the rainbow
I am trying to remember this!
You're on it!
I'm sure trying to be haha
I'm a new subscriber ❤
Welcome Welcome! I hope you also enjoy silly moments of failure because uhhh... that's totally going to happen.
at 12:19, that wooden club is a lot better than the rusty sword. a lot.
It is so much better. It's better than the next floor reward sword on floor 20 also IIRC.
you can get cave carrots in mines, if you use the hoe on soil in the cave, about 40% of time. that you can eat for energy.
You can thankfully also get them in barrels and boxes in the mines as well which is great.
I was about to say, hey Hill go look for onions lol
Tasty Onions! Well salmonberries are better really. Glorious berries!
Snow? I thought Indiana weather was weird lol
Now we are set for high 40s/low 50s and rain! Fun fun!
